Quickfire Monday

Do you know Quickfire? It's the first segment of Top Chef. Love that show!
Anyway, today went by way too fast. I was at work, then home and beautiful De (number9) arrived and we made dinner and talked about everything that the precious minutes could contain. I think we could go on for weeks and then still be "what about this?" and go off again. What a wild journey we were on. It was good to walk outside in the beautiful dark night together.
Tomorrow, my day off:
:: Breffie with De
:: Piano Tuning here
:: Mammogram
:: Make 100 biscuits for homeless shelter
:: Talk with someone at church about a fundraiser
:: Meet moms' grieving group
:: Maybe meet Byron for dinner.
:: And... would love to get in a run.
Another day that will go by in a blink! I really have to savor each moment because they go by so damn fast. This is life.

Sweet Sarah...I can relate - it seems like instead of slowing to a comfortable pace our lives are speeding up to a franctic race. I
keep forgetting that it is all within my power as to the architecture of my life plan. No one else in charge...but me...dammit! Some days - I don\'t want to be in charge. But....enjoy your day off and your time with sweetie #9.
Love to you ...Suzzanne

I still seem to be going in circles. All the same things to do. Resting now with this dumb cold. Rainy today. I remember, reading your journal, days like yours\', when there was so much to do. I meant to make a list so I could read it in the future. But I can\'t find it. Enjoy your active time, as I enjoy my rest. love ya, abby

My goodness you are busy. I would love to do all those things (except the mammo, of course--I hate the Big Squeeze!) Between losing my boy and getting more \"mature\" I don\'t seem to be able to do nearly as much these days. So enjoy it while you can. Busy-ness can be such a wonderful thing, if you\'re doing the things you love. Hugs, Margery Ann

Wow! What a day... wonder how much of this list did you complete??? All of it??? Wowzo! Oh, your time spent with DE... I am imagining and to have those heart to hearts in the flesh... just nothing like it.

We had a Buddhist monk come to teach a class to us today at the hospital and we chanted... one of the lines was about \"not squandering our lives.\" I would say that you are most certainly not doing that! Living life to the fullest is what you are experiencing.

Hope you got the run in or at least a good walk with your beloved fur babies.

Love your way,
Joanie

Did all that and then some other stuff too. The mamm was pretty good... the new equipment is not nearly as uncomfortable. Now to wait for the results... oh please all clear. Up and away at the crack o\' dawn tomorrow. Love to all ~~~~

Well, by now (Wed) your day off must seem like ancient history time-wise! You sure can do a lot in one day, Sarah. I wish I had your energy and stamina. Maybe I should take up running, too! (yeah, like THAT\"S really gonna happen....!!!)

I hope that you and De had a very enjoyable time together. I bet you two had some VERY interesting discussions! Have a good Thursday!

Sarah, it is so lovely to hear that you spend time with De. Glad to hear the mamm is not so uncomfortable these days. Guess I better schedule one. I can barely keep up with my shoulder exercises due to the rotator cuff problems...work is always in my way LOL. Hugs.

Amen to the clear mammo.
Amen to all you fit in a day.
Amen to the moments spent with you.
Amen to the gift of a beautiful dark night, holding hands, side by side, breathing in breaths accompanying thoughts from all the walks we walked together from afar.
