Quick, but Encouraging Update

I am super uber excited after this morning's appointment. My lining, which has always been a key issue for me, measured at .81. It is huge for me to get past .7. So, I'll take it!
I have at least 8 mature follicles (another accomplishment), plus a few more. Pending blood work results, I will trigger tonight and the retrieval will be on Thursday, with a Tuesday transfer (my RE only does 5-day transfers). I plan to do acupuncture before the retrieval and again on transfer day before and after.
The last time I did a fresh cycle, I was out of town and had several days off work. Should I plan to go back to work the day after ER? (I really need to.) I remember being sore afterwards.
What about the day after ET? My RE does not require bedrest, but I really need to be back at work (a lot going on) if I can. Advice?
Could this be it??? Really? The cycle has been picture perfect (for me), I am very encouraged right now and refuse to let anything negative creep in.
BTW, thanks for your positive thoughts and well wishes. My MIL had her surgery yesterday and is doing very well.

That is awesome news!!!! If you could manage a day of bedrest after each I think it would make you feel better overall! Acupuncture is a great idea!!! I am hoping this is your time for your miracle! Sending you prayers, positive vibes, and tons of babydust!!!! XXXX

Oh, Allison! I am so excited for you! This all just sounds great, so great! I did acupuncture before and after transfer this time - the only time it worked ;) I just love this entry! If I were you and I had to work I would take time off after the transfer - and rest as much as possible after retrieval. If there is anyway to work over the weekend so that you can take time off after transfer - maybe W/Th - I think that would be great. I am not sure what you do, could you work from bed? I think you just want to be as relaxed as possible and let those little embies snuggle in for the next 9 months!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I am so excited for you!

Oh my! Its almost time!!!! I am so very excited for you! Sounds like things are falling into place & your attitude & spirits are in just the right place.
I agree that you shouldn\'t NEED to take off work, but if you can then do what you can to relax as much as possible.
Best of blessings coming your way!!!

I am doing a little jig inside right now! That is so exciting!!! I would recommend the rest, only because if it were me, I would blame myself for not doing everything I felt I should if it doesn\'t work. But that\'s just me, and I totally think it is going to end up with a positive this time! WooHoo!

This is all great news. I am so pleased for you.
As to time off, I think you will be fine to go back the day after ER, if you are sore maybe some tylenol will help. However, even of your RE doesn\'t need you to go on bedrest. I would take it easy and take the day off, I understand you are really busy, but in the scheme of things a day won\'t make that big a difference when you are growing your baby.... hugs to you.

Thanks ladies! I am trying to plan it so I can work from home after the transfer. I can take time off, but I\'ll be really behind (and stressed) if I don\'t get any work done - lots of deadlines coming up. I\'ll play it by ear and do what\'s best for me and my embies. :)
