questions
To all of you who read this journal, are there moments when you are not worried about something? What does that actually feel like. Are you ever happy just because? do you ever eat something and not worry about how many calories are in it? Are you secure in your own home? do you have someone you love I am not necessarily talking about physical love but love just the same. Do you feel special just because you're you? I a.m. just asking for no particular reason just thought I'd ask

Yeah....but they are too far between...!!
Yes, I have had many happy moments in my life, Am I truly happy no I don\'t think so. Because of my CP. I have never had a normal life like others do. Yes, I have friends and family who love me. Yes, I feel somewhat secure. But believe I was more secure when my parents were here and took care of me. Now that they are gone. My life is very different , I find that often I am not so great or happy at being an adult without them here. But I believe that God has a purpose for my life. Many times I am unsure what that purpose is. I know I am not God.So this isn\'t for me to know. I am only human after all. I know I will leave this world when I have completed my life\'s purpose as we all do. Until then I will hang in there. Hugs-Stephanie
Honestly, I\'m always worried about something. I worry about the future a lot. I don\'t know that I\'m happy, but I\'m content with my situation. As you know, for the first time in my life I am taking a medicine that helps me. I do have my son and father whom I love more than anything, and my dog. As you know too, I always worry about what I\'m eating, but that has diminished quite a bit. I don\'t necessarily feel special, I feel different.
I share susan4 animals\' statement. I\'m always worried about something. I never have a truly happy day where I\'m totally care free. But that\'s hard to have, when you have a child with so many special needs. But my bf said something really simple, yet totally meaningful and can be applied to anyone\'s life. \"If you\'re worrying about the future, you can\'t enjoy the present.\" I think everyone should remember that. You don\'t have to let go of all your worries for the day, just pick one little thing to be happy about and it\'ll make your day a little better.
