Putting House Up for Sale
John Howard,
Well the time has come to put up my house and my godmother's house up for sale. Went to paint today and the sign was up in the yards. I know I have been blessed to have 2 houses, but I hate the way that I got them. I had to lose 2 amazing people that I truly loved and life will never be the same without them. My Godmother who had been my best friend since I can remember and my husband John whom we had been together since I was 18.
My current spouse came and helped me Paint. We heard noises of something falling and would go look and there was nothing there. I guess it was John's way of letting me know he was there with us. He and I had put all the ceramic floor in the house and now Pat and I were painting the walls.
When I left that house after painting I realized how much I love that house and hate to part with it. So many wonderful memories there but the time has come to let go and make new memories. As I write this the tears are flowing as this is the only place I can truly come and write my thoughts. I have always worried about what everyone else thought and not myself. If I had a dollar and someone else needed it I always would give it to them. That was just me, if they needed the shirt off my back I would probably give it to them too. Selling these houses are gonna be so hard.
I know that if and when I receive an offer I will have to look to my sisters to be strong for me and tell me what to do. As they don't have a vested interest and they will know what is right. I just hope and pray that a loving family will move in and share as many wonderful memories as we did.
All my love, Dra

I know how hard it is to leave the home you lived and loved in. I still miss mine down in FL. But I just have to close my eyes and I see it and all the memories. I\'m so glad you met someone and are now happy. The sadness of our lost loves will always be there in our hearts. Someday we will see them again. Hugs!
The house is just a building, you will have all of your memories inside of you for the rest of your life and you will make a home with your new husband. I have come to know that if everything I own is gone tomorrow, it is just stuff, nothing that important, who was important is gone but he lives on in my mind, heart and soul....hugs, Sandi
