Put Them Away
It's time to put them away. I've been cleaning my computer desk,,,trying to get rid of stuff I don't use a lot. There's a box of old Christmas cards that I put in my photo section every Christmas(yes, I never put them away) and a box of new cards(new because I bought them last year. I only used 4 of the 20 cards and probably won't use the rest this year. Kinda wrong to send a copy of last year's card this year.), some old photos that may or may not have been placed in various parts of DS, some modeling tools that I used to clean my watch and fishing reels, my high school diploma used during my job hunting days, the 2 boxes my printer toner came in(kept to make sure I get the right ones the next time), a dictionary and a thesaurus(spell checker doesn't always have the word and the thesaurus from a bit of writing I tried not using words I normally use),,,various doctor's appointment cards. Then, there are the suicide things from last year ,,,the after care instructions, bus ticket home, MHMR card with emergency numbers, and the I.D. bracelet from the hospital. They have next to my computer screen ever since I got back home. I kept them there to remind me of what could happen if a fit of depression ever came around again. All but the card must go. With them so close to my eyesight, the incident has never left my mind. Its been over a year. Time to let go. The desk will still be cluttered. That's just the way I am.
