Put my Trust back in God
Hey J. It's been a while since I have written. I have been a busy beaver and just not had my mind on journaling much. Glad to see you are still here waiting for me. An important thing happened last night. I placed my trust back in God. I had turned my back and walked away for a good while. I got this deluded thought in my sick mind that I would one day be asked to give up Dillon, my 3 year old, to Him just like He had given up Jesus for us. The very thought of that terrified me to death so I turned away. I could not even think on God without my heart starting to seize up. I now realize the truth. Dillon is His anyways. Just like I am. This does not mean I am going to be perfect, but it means I am going to strive to be only without being so hard on myself as I was before lest I wanna fall again. I may still curse, but I don't think God is gonna condemn me to hell. I believe we are walking in hell right here on this ole earth. Hope all reading this have a blessed day.

That must have been a truly terrifying thought that you had in your head. Glad you were able to give God a second chance, just as He has done for you.

i am so glad that you realized that was a deluded thought... all kinds of things can go thru our minds... and to realize it is the important thing... we have our bad spells and we have our good... i believe in god and do my fair share of praying... i am so happy for you to be a feeling better my sis... love ya lots... karen :)

I\'m so glad for your renewed trust. I\'ve been there where you\'ve been. Well except for the exact fear of being asked to give up your son. But I get it. The fear that something so great is going to be asked of you that you couldn\'t bare it. And if we turn away, we won\'t be asked those difficult things. BUT, I\'m back to trusting to, and feel as though I have been blessed more than I k ow. And perhaps I was being chastised. Just as a parent corrects thief children for their own good. It\'s not pleasant, we usually don\'t understand it. But sometimes out the other end we find the greater good! I wish nothing but Gods wonderful blessings on your life now!

Ya know, I\'ve tried it without Him before and everything is better with Him. So just Pavlovas dogs, I\'m empty without him and when I run away from Him I discover He\'s there too.

Amen to all that! I also believe hell is here on earth. And personally, I believe that all the worrying people do about some curse words and hair lengths and music styles is just a distraction from things we should really worry about like whether or not we\'re standing up for justice or being good to our families, stuff like that.
