put heat at 78 and slept great//out to lunch with j//marc & cc the outdoor cats r missing again wtf?

had a great day today, mostly because i slept great.  had the heat set at 78, which is supposed to be ideal sleeping temperature.  guess it is, because i felt fabulous when i woke up.
took a long hot bath that helps my back (next thing to handle from the car accident.  grrrrr).  the bath salts make a HUGE difference, doesn't do the same thing without them.  had publix hoagies which i know i shouldn't be eating for a ZILLION reasons but they were great.
met j for lunch at a new riverside cafe, which sorry, it sucked.  the chili was good.  the new england clam was soso.  it was actually the waitress that sucked and she really WAS a waitress and not a server.  she couldn't hear what was said and kept getting everything wrong.  didn't even know to bring two copies of the receipt - customer copy and store copy.  very weird girl.   i am assuming she is brand new, though she didn't look so young that she would never have worked before, but who knows.    you can never tell.  she seemed slow, like 23 or so and slow in the head.   the place is odd.  they have fish stuff all over it, but no fish except chowder on the menu.  the menus are take-out paper, even at the tables?  not even laminate on them which is so cheap to do.  my guess, their first restaurant?  and the music was country.  the prices are all slightly high, my guess is because its located across from a 28 story luxury condo complex (which is mostly empty by the way because it was built at the height of the real estate boon and at some point they were sinking into the water they are built on -- but have been fixed since then).
i was parked next to a mercedes kompressor.  that style of car was the same price as the car i bought.  different year.  won't think about it, so far this car runs really well.
received more copies of paperwork on the car.  e mail, and regular mail.  i guess making up for it taking so long?  don't even want to know why.  what the hell?  the new pages that was the "slow down" aren't even in the packet so it makes no sense at all for the delay, they could have sent this out the same day i signed it.
the siamese cat is missing again from the other house.  i am hoping he returned to hiding because of the workers, but k admits he may have gotten out.  no idea though.  k keeps confusing it with the other siamese, even though they look a little different.  i also haven't found the declawed one that hides and its been there a week!  wth?  i said this to k and he laughs.  he had one that hid for 3 years and then decided to join everyone.  lol.  (also siamese, it lets you pet it now).    the other new declawed one,  acts the same as rainbow - also declawed, a small amount of hiding and then basically blends in.  both of those should be easy adoptions.  the siamese that is missing is super nice once it adjusts to you, it was following me around five days ago, after hiding in the laundry room for a couple of weeks and barely seen.  they hide in the laundry room and in the cupboads in the kitchen and the ones store in the front room for now.    so i'm hoping its just hiding again, but why would it, if its used to me now?    i called rn and told her to keep a look out for it.  and i'll ask a neighbor.  wth?  she wants me to look at another house near her house, one block over that is for sale and i keep forgetting to.   she thinks its on a half acre.
some animals just want to be outside.
better to close the room doors when doing work, though no one else got out so.  k wants to put the cat door in first thing, before the new floors and i want the double french doors to the hallway put in - which will be tricky because the shape of that entranceway is unique unless they cut it and change it?  another kitten caught the cold that rooney has.  also misty is sneezing.  i mentioned this to rn and she blames the weather.  she says her litter of kittens also has colds - its just like with human babies, they get sick until their immune systems build up.  true.  but in humans it takes like 13 years and with kittens it takes one year.   it also depends on when they are born,  the kittens born in may generally do better than all the rest because its nice and warm out (as long as they are living where there isn't a/c running).   by the time the weather is cooler they are fairly big.
marc is still missing - two days.  i really think that guy did something, the one that lives on the corner.  i had thought of putting marc inside, brushing him down and attempting a dry bath for him.  he seems fairly healed from his skin allergy and now that its colder out, it should go away.  it took muggy over a year to get rid of her skin condition though.  she looks fabulous now, and she used to look really bad.   i've been trying to listen to that extra voice more (intuition) and now i wish i had brought him in.  wth?  sometimes animals act nervous, cc was like that last time i saw her, like something is up.   cc will just go straight out the cat door if you put her inside.   she likes it outside.   marc would stay in, if you put him indoors.  (wish i had an acre of land with a barn).    marc might even like being inside, since its cooler outside again and shorter-furred cats don't like cold weather.
so who has cc?  who has marc?   and what is going on with that.  both cc and marc are ALWAYS super hungry when they get here.  cc used to be this super independent happy cat and now she seems anxious and only shows up every five days or so?  marc was always friendly as well and will hug you if you pick him up.  super sweet.  he has a skin allergy in the summer.  it goes away in the winter.  this year it was worse than usual, but a lot of animals had skin troubles this year.
next time i hear that neighbor digging i'm going to cut through and see what is going on.  tricky to do, since i'm not skinny anymore.  not so easy to get around, as when a person is small and skinny.
