Pushing Myself Forward
I woke up this morning and I just felt drugged. I don't know if it's because of my heart racing all day every day for the past few weeks, or because I get woken up at least four times every night.
When I'm really tired that's when I am more likely to have the random bad panic attacks, dizziness and head zaps. I started feeling anxious and having panic attacks, but I just pushed myself forward and actually ended up having a productive day.
I have been taking a break from the driving this week, but I try to make up for it by being really productive in other ways. At least I am not glued to my seat in panic, and I am getting stuff accomplished so that is something to be happy about.
I found an online therapist and I have my first appointment on Monday. I'm glad that online therapy is an option because everyone I know works and I'd hate having to ask people to take turns taking time off work to watch my daughter just so I could attend numerous therapy sessions.
My daughter starts school in just over a month. I should really look into going to the doctor and get this whole racing heart and occasional chest pains thing checked out. It's most likely caused by my anxiety, but it can't be healthy to feel this way all the time.
I still get anxious about leaving the house some days. I didn't go out this past weekend, but I'd like to get out and do something fun this weekend. Hopefully I can get some rest, relax and have fun this weekend instead of crying or sitting it out.

I have had that drugged feeling too and I hate it. Also I noticed the attacks are more frequent if I\'m tired. I\'m glad you found the online therapist and that you are thinking of going to a dr. because he/she can rule out anything physical causing the attacks. Sounds like things are going better for you this week than last week. Hang in there!! Sending you hugs!!
Thanks, Orsa! Hope you are having a good week as well! Hugs!
I have a job interview tomorrow morning for a seasonal job personalizing ornaments. I need to do something to get myself out of the house. It\'s not good for me to be home a lot or I can\'t motivate myself to do much. I\'m glad things are looking up for you. I\'ll be interested in hearing how you like online therapy. :))
Thanks for the support! Good luck tomorrow and let me know how the job interview goes! It sounds like a fun job!
Hi friend, sending my best well wishes, and healing energy, hoping that all goes well, with your upcoming online therapy, and that you have much relief, and healing :) i\'m so proud of you, for how strong you are, and facing the anxiety/panic attacks, and taking good steps, toward continued healing :) i know in the moments of anxiety/panic attacks, it can really drain us. You are doing well, keeping busy and active with your days, and making accomplishments too :) when we put that positive energy into accomplishments, it\'s a great feeling, and makes us feel much stronger, than anxiety and panic attacks. we all are strong, and can overcome a lot, with our strength, determination, and our motivation, to heal :)
wishing you the very best :)
it\'s so nice, your daughter beginning school soon :) my nieces are in 8th grade and 3rd grade :)
i hope you all have a peaceful, and relaxing upcoming weekend :)
Thank you Chris for your words of encouragement! It means a lot. It is a difficult process and appreciate the support!
