Puppy Update
There's been another improvement with the puppies. The three on the fence now have large metal pans for their food. Before, the food was tossed on the ground like chicken feed or put in the plastic water dishes, leaving them without water for the dry food. Even Buddy at the back of the yard has a food pan. The plastic water dishes have been given to Boots, the oldest of the four who is stuck out in the middle of the yard, but has a dog house. He's not as active as the other three so I don't see him knocking them over or playing with them. Now, if somebody will just play with them! Give them a toy. Just give them something to do. Maybe that's next. I hope so. They need petting and stroking,,,,attention.

It is great to hear of the improvement for the dogs. I hope they Can have some toys too but It is good news
I wonder if the people living there seeing you care for their dogs through the fence has given them a good dose of \'shame\' and \'guilt\' to make them care more for these animals? Could be?

I am doing a publicity release for some of the members on Bunny Queen\'s Animal Friends to send to their local newspapers & politicians. Could you send me a couple of paragraphs re:neighbor\'s puppies & how you feel about them? Maybe I could include a few sentences about your ordeal with them to encourage other people\'s sympathy..
