Pumpkin Carving Party! :) carving pumpkins, roasting the seeds :) It's Halloween time! :)

PUMPKIN CARVING PARTY!!! :) oh my! :) oh boy!!! :) We had so much fun today!!! :) Celebrating a super fun and sweet awesome tradition, and festivity of the season, and Halloween time! :) Today, my family and i carved pumpkins, and we roasted the seeds! :) Little Mikey and Jenn came over to join in on the pumpkin carving fun! :) this was so nice, and very special :) You all were right there with us in spirit :) We set our table/garden bench in our front yard, and carved the pumpkins, as we were enjoying the tradition, lots of nice fresh crisp autumn air, and autumn leaves all around :) it's a beautiful day of pumpkin carving fun :) our pumpkins look BOO-eautiful, and spook-tacular! :) Each pumpkin is very unique, and we are gonna be lighting tea light candles in our pumpkins on Halloween holiday :) The pumpkins will glow bright, on HALLOWEEN NIGHT!!! :) whoooo!!! :) this is such a sweet day, and awesome tradition of halloween, that my family and i celebrated today :) We took lots and lots and lots of pictures to share with everyone :) We're so very tickled happy, excited, and thrilled! :) i got the kitchen nice and cozy warm today, and roasted the pumpkin seeds :) they are one of our favorite snacks :) Kayla, Taylynn, Mikey, and i got our picture taken together :) We are having so much fun, and having the time of our lives, celebrating this spook-tacular halloween season with you all :) We are gearing up, for HALLOWEEN WEEK!!! :) 4 days until Halloween holiday! :) We've got lots of celebrations planned for the upcoming week :) Trick or Treating, Halloween holiday party, lots of fun, excitement, and BOO-eautiful memories to be made :) This is gonna be another BOO-eautiful week, as we celebrate halloween each day, and on October 31st, the big halloween party celebrations!!! :) i brewed some pumpkin spiced iced coffee today :) CHEERS!!! and Happy Halloween pumpkin smiles across the miles, from our home to yours :) HALLOWEEN IS COMING!!! :)

Happy Pumpkin Smiles :) awww! :) i am smiling and smiling, as i enjoy a sweet pumpkin spiced iced offee, and some fresh roasted pumpkin seeds :) mmm mmm! :) our kitchen smelled like roasting pumpkin seeds today, as my family and i had one of our funnest, most enjoyable, and favorite traditions of the season, Pumpkin Carving! :) We were so happy and excited about my sister Jenn and little Mikey coming over to carve pumpkins for us :) this is a very special tradition, that is part of the halloween holiday each year :) There's something very magical, and wonderful about pumpkin carving :) back when Kayla was about 2 years old, we began to carve pumpkins, the sunday before halloween, each year :) it's a sweet classic, and golden tradition that has gone on for many many years, dating back to the history of halloween :) Taking part in this tradition, of carving pumpkins, is so much fun, and brings lots of great memories :) on this day, when we carve pumpkins, i love to think about how awesome it is, to take part in this festivity :) pumpkin carving goes way back, to the early days of halloween, and when we carve pumpkins, it's so nice, because it's like we are taking part in keeping the awesome tradition going. :) pumpkin carving, is an awesome fun adventure, and today, we had so much fun, keeping the sweet halloween tradition going :)
This morning, a beautiful new crisp, and cool autumn day was rising and shining, with a beautiful October sunrise :) it's sweet classic, and golden day 27 of the halloween season! :) We are only 4 days away, from HALLOWEEN HOLIDAY!!! :) this is awesome fun, and such a sweet time we've been having all season, celebrating the spirit of halloween :) We've been looking forward to carving pumpkins :) all this month, we've been taking about how we can't wait to carve the pumpkins, and of course, roasting the seeds! :) mmm mmm! :) Kayla, Taylynn, Lisa, and i are big fans of pumpkin seeds :) We got an awesome pumpkin from our garden this season, plus, we got 3 pumpkins from the pumpkin patch out in Franklin farms,. and my sister Jenn and Mikey brought over a pumpkin too! :) This morning, we were gearing up, to set up our garden bench, and getting ready to have lots and lots of fun, carving the pumpkins :)
PUMPKIN CARVING PARTY!!! :) You all were right here with us in spirit! :) i had my camera, as we set up our garden bench near under our front tree :) my sister Lisa gathered a huge bowl, spoons, knifes, and my mom got the paper towels, and we began to set everything up on the garden bench :) this was great! :) There's a cool crisp breeze, autumn leaves all around, the kids were so excited! :) Kayla, Taylynn, and Mikey all gathered around their pumpkins, and began to draw faces on the pumpkins! :) we were sharing lots and lots of smiles, and i was thinking of you all, as i took pictures to share with you all here in my journal today :) We love sharing our pumpkin carving party with everyone :) we were helping the kids, my mom and sister Jenn were taking pictures of us :) We began to carve the pumpkins, we first cut the tops of the pumpkins, when we cut the pumpkin that little Mikey and Jenn brought over, Mikey was so excited when he saw the seeds, he said, "seeds! seeds!" hehe! :) very adorable! :) he is wearing his little Uconn Huskies hat today! :) awww! :) We were dressed warmly, as it's crisp and autumn cool outside :)
As we carved the pumpkins, we were putting the seeds into the big bowl we had :) i love the scent of pumpkin :) We were all having such a fun time, talking about halloween :) The spirit, excitement, and energy in the air is amazing, on wonderful days like this :) We love, cherish, and treasure these very special times :) We decided to carve our pumpkin from our garden, it had some HUGE Seeds inside the pumpkin! :) WOW! :) Kayla, Lisa, Taylynn, and i were talking about how we can't wait to roast the seeds! :) Yummy pumpkin seeds! :) We carved cool pumpkin faces on the pumpkins :) my niece Alyssa gave Taylynn's pumpkin a fun eyebrows theme! :) i carved my pumpkin like the pumpkin that is in the opening credits of my favorite halloween movie, Halloween II :) i carve my pumpkin like that each year :) i also carved our pumpkin from our garden :) Lisa and Kayla carved Kayla's pumpkin, and Taylynn and i helped little Mikey carve his pumpkin :) little Mikey got to help too! :) he had a plastic knife, and he was so happy as he was participating in carving the pumpkin : )awww! :)
We were taking lots and lots of cool and fun pictures to share, as we carved our pumpkins :) The pumpkins look BOO-eautiful and spook-tacular! :) We can't wait to light the tea light candles in the pumpkins, on halloween holiday, on halloween night! :) The pumpkins will greet the trick or treaters, as the pumpkins shine bright! : )it's one of our favorite halloween holiday joys : )this is so much fun!!! :) my mom and i put our garden bench back next to our scarecrows decoratives display, and we set the pumpkins up all in a row, and i took more pictures of the pumpkins :) it's gonna look so cool on halloween night too, when we light the candles in the pumpkins :) my dad was checking in on the pumpkin carving fun, and we were also taking about the Red Sox baseball games, and football games :) my mom and dad made some nice hot tea, and earlier in the morning, i made some hazelnut tea. :) Delicious! :) my family and i have been enjoying the wonderful spirit of this amazing day, and the halloween season :) We feel your loving prescence with us, and our spirits are with you all too :) This is such a fun season :) as we celebrate days like this, and times like this, so many incredible memories being made :) while i was carving our pumpkin from our garden, i thought about how the pumpkin grew all season in our garden, and now joins the other pumpkins, as a very special part of our halloween holiday celebrations, and decorations :)
ROASTING PUMPKIN SEEDS!!! : )YUM YUM YUM!!! :) COME ON OVER FOR SOME FRESH ROASTED PUMPKIN SEEDS!!! :) awww! :) carving pumpkins is tons of fun, and also, getting to enjoy the pumpkin seeds is awesome too! :) Today, i prepared the pumpkin seeds :) i first washed the seeds in warm water, and i then put the seeds in a strainer to drain all of the water :) i kept some of the seeds to replant in our garden next season :) i turned the oven on, and then got 2 baking sheets/pans :) i sprinkled salt onto the pans, and then sprinkled salt onto the pumpkin seeds :) We love salted roasted pumpkin seeds :) it's fun to make them :) i put the pumpkin seeds, onto the baking pans, and then sprinkled more salt onto the pumpkin seeds :) i then put the pumpkin seeds into the oven to roast :) oh my! :) oh my!!! :) that CLASSIC PUMPKIN SEEDS ROASTING SCENT filled our kitchen!!! :) i opened up the oven door to get a nice whiff scent of those sweet seeds roasting! :) mmm mmm! :) Delicious! :) i used a spatula to stir/rotate the seeds, to make sure they evenly roasted :) i baked 4 pan fulls of the seeds, and let the seeds cool down, before putting the seeds into pumpkin bags :) Kayla, Taylynn, Lisa, and i, each got a bag of pumpkin seeds, all nice and roasted, yummy pumpkin seeds, a nice snack, of the awesome autumn pumpkin season : ) We look forward to roasting the seeds each year, it's one of our favorite treats :) the seeds came out great! :) We wish you all could come over to enjoy some nice roasted pumpkin seeds, and hot tea :) CHEERS!!! :) many sweet memories being made :)
NEW CARPET AND NEW MINIVAN!!! :) NEW ADDITIONS! :) awww! :) my family and would love to share with everyone, about 2 new additions we are getting :) Today, my niece Alyssa helped my mom and dad install new carpeting in our living room :) it's so nice, we love getting new carpeting :) recently, we've had some troubles with the green minivan. my mom and dad decided to let the green minivan go, they called one of the car junk yards nearby our city, and they came to pick up the minivan, on friday afternoon. my mom and dad recieved $250 :) we'll miss the green minivan, but are getting a new minivan :) my niece Alyssa's boyfriend AJ has a red minivan that he is selling to my mom and dad, for $1,800 :) my mom and dad are so excited, they are gonna be able to pay for the minivan, with 3 payment installments of $600 over the course of the next 3 months :) We're very happy and delighted about getting a new minivan :) it's gonna be so nice going for some adventures in the new minivan :) we're very happy about all of these nice things :)
PRAYERS REQUEST. my family and i have a prayers request, for our dear friends in the United Kingdom, England. there's storms there, in their forecast. please keep everyone in your thoughts and prayers, and wishing them all comfort, and safety, and hoping the weather eases very soon. my family and i will be keeping updated when friends, on how they are doing, checking in, to make sure they are ok. we have many wonderful friends in the UK. We care about everyone. sending our love, and comforting friendship hugs, and prayers.
my family and i are enjoying a wonderful day :) We've been enjoying some nice quality time together, enjoying the spirit of the day, and all of the great things going on, and many special memories being made :) this weekend is wonderful, and we have the HALLOWEEN WEEK coming up to celebrate, the countdown to halloween holiday :) the halloween season continues to rock and roll! :) my family and i have had the football games on tv today :) i enjoyed some nice talks on the phone, with our dear friends Maria (Love4You) and Holly :) it's so nice talking :) The football games are exciting, the Redskins game just began this late afternoon :) i'm cheering and cheering for the Redskins :) Hail to the Redskins! :)Hail Victory! :) it would be a huge win for them :) i brewed some nice pumpkin spiced iced coffee today, and looking forward to the upcoming week of halloween excitement :) it's HALLOWEEN CELEBRATIONS WEEK!!! :)
There's many amazing things to look forward too :) it was so nice carving pumpkins today, and roasting the seeds :) this upcoming week, i'm going to enjoy some nature walks, writing letters, we're also going trick or treating at mcdonalds, for sweet treats tuesday :) on all hallow's eve, we may go to the post office, to mail letters, but i may take the extra days to do some letter writing to mail letters next wednesday :) on thursday, it's halloween holiday :) from sunrise to sunset, through moonrise of the halloween night, all day, halloween celebrations, halloween party, we gonna go to mcdonalds, and dunkin donuts :) i want to get some chicken mcnuggets, and a large pumpkin spiced iced latte on halloween holiday to enjoy :) we'll be going trick or treating during the evening into halloween night, and on halloween night at 9pm, our dear friend Holly and i are gonna be watching the halloween episode of ghost adventures, a special 2 hour episode from dracula's castle in Transylvania :) it's gonna be spook-tacular, and the entire week, is gonna be AMAZING! :) i'm watching spooky movies all week too, each day :) we are so happy, excited, and thrilled to celebrate with you all :) we look forward to hearing about your halloween festivities, traditions, and celebrations :) this is pure halloween season fun :) i'll be lighting up my halloween town, all throughout the upcoming week, all the way until the deep hours of halloween night, on thursday :) HALLOWEEN TIME! ROASTING PUMPKIN SEEDS :) my family and i love pumpkin seeds, we love to roast the seeds :) We saved a few seeds to replant in our garden next season :) i washed the seeds with nice warm water, and then drained the water, and i sprinkled salt onto sheet/baking pans, and then put the pumpkin seeds onto the pan :) i then sprinkled more salt onto the pumpkin seeds, and roasted the pumpkin seeds in the oven :) mmm mmm! :) i love that sweet scent of pumpkin seeds roasting, on a cool crisp autumn day :) The seeds came out great! :) they are delicious! :) my family and i are sharing the seeds :) one of our favorite snacks of the season :) HALLOWEEN PUMPKIN SMILES :)
