Pumpkin Carving Day! :) A Spirited time, Carving our Halloween Pumpkins! :)
PUMPKIN CARVING PARTY DAY!!! :) oh my! :) THIS IS HALLOWEEN! THIS IS HALLOWEEN! :) PUMPKIN SMILES!!! :) This was so much fun!!! :) my family and i had an awesome halloween fun time today, CARVING PUMPKINS, AND ROASTING THE SEEDS! :) Delightful crisp cool autumn weather, and enjoying the spirit of one of our favorite, festivities, and traditions of October! :) Jenn and Mikey came over, Alyssa and the triplets came over! :) we set up our garden bench in our front yard, under our front tree :) The kids were going wild!!! they were so excited! :) We all gathered around, and carved pumpkins :) the PUMPKINS FAMILY LOOKS COOL!!! :) It's HALLOWEEN WEEK!!! :)woot! :) We had so much fun! :) i treated my mom to an iced tea, i got a pumpkin spiced iced coffee :) This day is rocking, and pumpkin rolling! :) Lisa, Kayla, Taylynn, all carving pumpkins :) We carved some of our gourds pumpkins too! :) i used glow in the dark vampire fangs, to decorate one of those gourds! :) it looks FANGStastic, and SPOOK-tacular! :) We love this very special tradition, and all of the awesome memories being made :) You all were with us in spirit, as we carved pumpkins :) We love our annual pumpkin carving party :) i took lots and lots, and LOTS!!! of pictures to share with everyone :) All of the pumpkins look so nice! :) We're going to light tea light candles in the pumpkins, this upcoming halloween holiday! :) i roasted the pumpkin seeds, one of our favorite snacks! :) yum! :) Is everyone ready for HALLOWEEN CELEBRATIONS WEEK! :) Twas 5 days, until Halloween! :) TRICK OR TREAT!!! :) We're so very happy, excited, and thrilled! :) We're gonna have a week, full of halloween celebrations :) All hallow's eve, and Halloween holiday on spook-tacular baking friday! :) this upcoming week, is gonna be WILD, INCREDIBLE, FUN, EXCITING, AND AMAZING!!! :) THIS IS HALLOWEEN! Hi angel friends! :) it's a beautiful, and awesomely SPOOK-tacular, Autumn Sunday! :) my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a wonderful day! :) we got some fresh roasted yummy pumpkin seeds! :) football games on, and lots and lots of joy within our heart! :) Today, we had our annual pumpkin carving party day! :) it's one of our favorite traditions, of October, and the Halloween season :) One of the most incredibly fun festivities, of Halloween time, is carving pumpkins :) we love taking part in this awesome tradition, that has been going on, for hundreds and hundreds of years, all around the world :) Pumpkin Carving, and enjoying the spirit, of the ever glowing Halloween season! :)
HAPPY PUMPKIN SMILES! :) my family and i had family over today, to enjoy some pumpkin carving fun! :) Last sunday, we had so much fun, going pumpkin picking, and all week, we were looking forward, to our annual pumpkin carving party :) for as long as i can remember, my family and i have carved pumpkins, throughout the years, every October :) since 2001, when Kayla was born, and eventually Taylynn and Mikey being born in recent years, and now the triplets, and getting to share with you all, our dear friends all around the world, since 2007, our annual pumpkin carving party, we've made this very special tradition, a more and more BIG part of our halloween season :) i love learning about the history, of pumpkin carving :) i remember the haunted history of halloween, and how back when halloween first began, in it's Celtic roots in Ireland, people use too carve Squash, for halloween, and eventually began to carve pumpkins over the years :) it's really special, getting to take part in keeping this amazing tradition going and going :) one of my favorite joys, is halloween evening, coming home after trick or treating, and lighting tea light candles in our carved pumpkins, seeing them glow and glow with the spirit of halloween night! : )it's absolutely incredible, it's AMAZING HALLOWEEN! :)
This morning, we woke up to a crisp, chilly cool, and breezy autumn day! :) That's the halloween spirit, all around, and spirit of the autumn season :) my family and i were so excited, as we began the day, with spirited joy, knowing today's our pumpkin carving party day :) We love to carve the pumpkins early, before my sister Lisa goes to work, so that she can take part in the tradition with us :) my niece Alyssa, and the triplets came over early this morning :) my sister Lis and Alyssa went over to dunkin donuts :) i surprised my mom! :) i treated her, to a nice iced tea! :) She was so thrilled, and excited! :) awww! :) i also treated myself, to a nice pumpkin spiced iced coffee to enjoy today :) these treats, are rocking, and pumpkin rolling! :) Woot! :) my sister Jenn, and Mikey came over :) they brought their pumpkin they got, at the pumpkin farm :) they also brought a pumpkin carving kit! :) SWEET! :)
We set up a nice area, our garden bench, under our front tree :) We got some bowls, carving knifes, and some spoons :) We were all set, and ready! :) i was thinking of you all, and had my camera with me to take pictures to share :) this is so cool! :) just last night, our dear friend Holly shared some pumpkin carving videos with me, on youtube! :) awesome! :) the kids were all so excited, as we were all gathering around :) We began to carve the pumpkins :) my mom was sitting outside with us :) we were all so excited, pumpkin carving time! :) i love that scent, of the pumpkin! :) it smells like HALLOWEEN!!! :)

ROASTING PUMPKIN SEEDS! :) After we carved pumpkins, i then began to get ready, to prepare the pumpkin seeds, for roasting :) getting the kitchen cozy warm, with the oven on, on a cool crisp autumn day :) i sorted through the pumpkin seeds, removed all of the orange pumpkin, washed the seeds in nice warm water, and then got some baking pans :) it's so neat, roasting the pumpkin seeds :) i saved some of the seeds, to dry, for replanting next year, i also saved our gourds seeds, for replanting in our garden next season :) After i washed the pumpkin seeds, i salted them, with some nice salt, i then poured some salt on the baking pans, and roasted the seeds in the oven :) i like to use a spatual, while roasting the seeds, to rotate the seeds, so that they are nice and evenly baking :) MMM MMM! :) SWEET PUMPKING GOODNESS!!! :) that wonderful scent of pumpkin seeds roasting, is such a wonderful scent, it's halloween time, wholesome autumn season! :) We love it!!! :) my sister Lisa, Kayla, Taylynn, and i each got a bag of pumpkin seeds :) i love to snack on pumpkin seeds, while watching spooky cool tv shows, and movies, and watching football :) We had so much fun today, carving pumpkins, and i'm having so much fun, writing all about our adventure, our pumpkin carving party :) These special traditions, are very wholesome, and heart warming :) We'll always cherish, and treasure the awesome memories being made :) Thank you all, for celebrating these very special joys, and festivities of the season, with my family and i :) HAPPY PUMPKIN CARVING PARTY DAY SMILES! :)
We're enjoying a super mega SWEET PUMPKIN AWESOME AUTUMN HALLOWEEN-ISH DAY!!! :) WOOT!!! :) AWESOME TIMES!!! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in great spirits! :) my energy level is really good today, and i got my halloween town glowing, with lots and lots of spirit, and excitement :) my family and i have been hanging out today, enjoying halloween week festivities, as we gear up, for the big upcoming week, with the countdown to halloween holiday :) This upcoming week, is gonna be incredible! :) autumn nature walks, halloween sweet treats tuesday, super wednesday post office adventure, ghost hunters party, plus, spooky cool movies, enjoying halloween treats, opening mail, and on thursday, HALLOWEEN TOWN ALL HALLOWS EVE, Bonfire celebration, and on friday, HALLOWEEN HOLIDAY, baking friday, trick or treating all around our neighborhood! :) We're absolutely thrilled!!! and very excited, about all of these special times, that are gonna make the week, so much fun, very special, magical, and memorable :) THIS IS HALLOWEEN! :)

my gourd pumpkin, Count Gourd-ula! (DRACULA) :) i carved one of our gourds pumpkins, and put these cool FANGSTATIC vampire fangs, in the pumpkin mouth area :) the fangs glow in the dark! :) Spooky cool! :) This is awesome fun! :) HALLOWEEN TIME! :)

We were putting all of the pumpkin seeds into the big bowl! :)
i washed the pumpkin seeds with warm water, i then sprinkled salt onto a baking pan, and put the pumpkin seeds on the pan, and i then sprinkled more salt on top :) the pumpkin seeds roast so very deliciously nice in the oven! : )mmm mmm! :) We love roasted pumpkin seeds :) i'll be snacking on pumpkin seeds all week! :)

HAPPY PUMPKIN CARVING PARTY DAY!!! :) my family and i had lots and lots of fun today, carving pumpkins :) we had family over to visit, we set up a nice garden bench, under our front tree :) this is so much fun, and one of our favorite halloween season festivities, and traditions :) it's a sweet crisp and chilly cool autumn day with a spirited breeze in the air :) the kids had so much fun! :) they were ready to carve pumpkins! :) You all were right there with us in spirit, during our pumpkin carving party :) We love celebrating these very special times with you all, our dear friends :) Pumpkin Carving, lots of great spirit, and excitement in the air :) We love Halloween time :) i roasted pumpkin seeds today :) we love fresh roasted pumpkin seeds :) We're all set, and ready to light tea light candles in our pumpkins on halloween evening! :) they will glow bright, with the spirit of HALLOWEEN NIGHT! :) HAPPY PUMPKIN SMILES! :)

my gourd pumpkin, Count Gourd-ula! (DRACULA) :) i carved one of our gourds pumpkins, and put these cool FANGSTATIC vampire fangs, in the pumpkin mouth area :) the fangs glow in the dark! :) Spooky cool! :) This is awesome fun! :) HALLOWEEN TIME! :)
The kids were having so much fun! :) we were all gathered around the tables, carving pumpkins, sharing spirited joy, smiles, and all of these awesome memories being made, we'll always cherish, and treasure :) Thank you for joining us on our pumpkin carving party day adventure! :) This is awesome fun! :) HAPPY PUMPKIN SMILES! :)
We were putting all of the pumpkin seeds into the big bowl! :)
i washed the pumpkin seeds with warm water, i then sprinkled salt onto a baking pan, and put the pumpkin seeds on the pan, and i then sprinkled more salt on top :) the pumpkin seeds roast so very deliciously nice in the oven! : )mmm mmm! :) We love roasted pumpkin seeds :) i'll be snacking on pumpkin seeds all week! :)

HALLOWEEN DECORATING! :) we did some decorating in our front yard today, tree area :) We put up some spook-tacular halloween decorations! :) i gave the kids some halloween pencils :) They're so happy! :) Holly gave us this cool mummy halloween decoration! :)

My Halloween decorations on the front porch look so SPOOKY!!! I have two ghosts, a spider web, and a jackolantern along with the harvest blessing windsocks like I sent you--I really LOVe when we both have the same decorations--it\'s just FUN!

Awww i luved your Halloween carving day journal Chris! You all looked like you had such a great time, it was a priveledge to view your pics and join in the fun with you all. Luved reading about the history of pumpkin carving too! Wow!
