Yeah everyone should have a friend that they can lean on and go to when times are tough and good times too. I haven\'t had that friend (in person) since maybe 1999. I have no friends. So consider yourself lucky, with the friends you did have even though you lost her. Good luck on the finding a new BFF journey :)
I have a lot of friends, but no real BFF. However, I never have and never will make that my mission. I used to feel awful about it, and when I would meet a new friend I would hope that maybe it could happen, but then they would mention their best friend, and that was that - almost like when you meet someone and find out they have a boyfriend or girlfriend. If it happens naturally, that will be great, meanwhile I am fulfilled by having a number of good friends I know will be there for me if I need them. I have learned over the years that feeling good about life has to be about me, and not the people around me - and I can\'t always stick to this, but most of the time I do. I am the only one with the power to make my life good or bad, not a BFF or anyone else (except God, of course). Hang in there, you will find fulfillment, and when you find fulfillment in yourself, you\'ll probably find a BFF too!
I am always here for you
