I doesn't know, but more and more I believe that it was the transition from the BP dx to the PTSD dx which triggered my amnesiac spots within my early therapy, turning it into a big, sloppy bowl of alphabet soup. Some days I amnae even certain the noodles are shaped to the Roman alphabet. Am I in manic or hyper-vigilant episode or have the names for those changed, too?

Day-to-day, I don't put much value in the labels and focus more on the symptoms. By the time PTSD was added to my VA case file in the late 90's, BP therapy, tools and peer support had calmed the worst of my symptoms. Child sex trafficking makes for some pretty extreme PTSD cases. I have long been resigned to the need for lifelong therapy. None of us saw big problems with my continuing to use what had brung me this far. While ALL of us respected the value of medication, most of us were surprised by the med compliance trends which have cut me off from what had brought me that far. This round of whatchamacallit finds me ? ? ? puzzling? ? ?

Are those tools still valid? Was any of that therapy more valid than the therapy Marquis de Sade received?

Yay me!!! I got my focus on for long enough to use up the four cans of foam caulk I bought to fill some of more atrocious gaps between the old brick and new windows and doors of the honey barn. It is my first run with this stuff, so I'm not sure how I did with it. For sure I wasted allot, and made more mess than seems appropriate, but I was warned to expect that. I run a great bead of the standard caulks, but this foam stuff is a whole new bag.

For now, I am celebrating that I got my focus on for long enough to give the job the best I have to offer.

The contract is signed for the new roof on the honey barn. It is guesstimated to a day long project which should be scheduled for next week. My honey better get his moves on for this space. His metaphorical honey is getting quite comfy in here.

Yea, the windows I've done so far look like they belong on a White Christmas card. I think I've gotten the four cans to do the work 10 or 20 cans should have done. Life's never ending learning curve. . . There are 15 windows and 3 doors in the honey barn. By the time I finish interior and exterior, I should be a bit more confident and economical. At least, that's my prayer and I'm sticking to it.

I've trimmed the excess and sanded two windows and a door. It looks like pretty slick stuff. Sure enough stopped the air leaks.

Got me thinking about the thigh biters on the tire swing outside. The GKs love it, but complain about the tire edges biting into their legs. Been using towels to pad those edges, but. . . How many cans do I need to give them a smooth edge to sit on?

Big hug for you sweetie.... You have been busy

I often wonder about my diagnosis at times now as well..... I do believe I have bipolar symptoms that meds make a big difference with although I'm pretty flat now and they have brought me out of psychosis

At the same time I believe I probably have at least some symptoms of complex trauma

Trying to figure it out at times can be trying.....I'm sorry that you felt that you had to leave the bipolar board..... I'm going to send you a pm

There have been others that have chosen not to be on meds and it is an individuals right for what works for them..... Another hug sweetie....xo
