psychiatric questionnaire
I went to see my psychiatrist yesterday. It was a normal questionnaire visit meaning he ask the following questions: one do you feel suicidal at this point and time? No I said. Are you practicing bulimia yes I said. The last question I hate the most what are you going to do the rest of the week? Draw or read I said with a happiness in my heart. This question always makes me angry because he's always asking as though I were going to climb Mount Everest or swim the English Channel. I have been going to the same man for 16 years and nothing usually changes from month to month. Not everyone has a great purpose in life. Sometimes the greatness is just surviving minute to minute. Thank you my friends for letting me vent!

Honey, I think it\'s time for you to try and find a different psychiatrist, one that actually tries to help, and doesn\'t just do the same routine over and over because, obviously, it\'s not working! I\'m sorry. Please talk to me anytime. You have my number. Sorry I haven\'t talked to you in a while. Summer is always really hectic around here, trying to get Jonah in to see all his different doctors, etc. Hope you understand....
Vent anytime!
please do vent and we will listen
I hate when people ask me that too
Its like what do you think I am going to do.
I am not going on some exciting vacation over the weekend for something.
I agree!! Please TRY to find another Doctor...You will be doing Yourself a BIG Favor!!! Don\'t be afraid...Change is Good!!
Bless your heart, please add me to the list of people who believe that a different doctor would be better for you. I wish you would consider seeing a therapist aside from the doctor. The doc mainly prescribes meds, I believe seeing a therapist on a weekly basis would be much more helpful and she/he could help you find what activities may be available for you.
