Psalm 139:1-4, He knows me.
O Lord, thou hast search me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my though afar off. Thou compasseth my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. (Psalm 139:1-4)
This message comforts me today. I am in a time in my life where it is hard for me to express my thoughts and feelings to those around me. I want and feel so much of everything - immense joy and gratitude and total despair; complete compassion and firey anger. This constant hot/cold makes me wish to spare my loved ones the ordeal that is me. But when I bow my head in prayer I know there is little I have to say because God understands. He knows my heart and he knows my reasoning. It is only in God's presence that I feel truly understood. The Lord truly i s my very best friend.
