Proud of My Son

Yesterday marked the 1st day of 2nd quarter at the high school.  My son decided to drop gym for 2nd & 3rd quarters & take a study hall instead (you have the freedom to spread gym out throughout your 4 years).  This was so that he could do some homework (especially algebra) during study hall & also have the freedom to get extra help if he needed it.  Already, he's completed most of his homework for the day (he says--but he usually doesn't give me homework updates!). The best part is was that this is his solution to his problem.  Perhaps he feels more homework-focused while he is at school.  Regardless, I'm so proud that he came up with this idea.  I really hope it works!
