Progress Report #2 - I'm HEALTHY!!!
And it's ok to literally work my butt off!!!! I walked into the clinic and the BP was 186/112 - yep, panic attack! In fact, the doctor said she could see it in my face and mannerisms. Anxiety meds start tonite! And my blood pressure readings that I've been writing down since I've noticed all this... EXCELLENT. She said, blood pressure meds would make me feel awful when I'm relaxed. And so, we start "experimenting" tonite - I keep taking readings 3 times a day to see if there are any good or bad side effects with the meds and have the ok to PUSH myself with my training for the race. AND, no monster waves of grief with the full moon! I'm moving FORWARD!
YAY!!! Later!

One more thing... after I got back to the office and relaxed, I was suddenly EXHAUSTED and CRAVING sugar. An AHA moment! THAT\'s why I struggle with weight loss! I\'m really crossing my fingers that I get this under control... I won\'t be goal weight by race day, but there\'s DEFINITE hope now for New Year\'s! Cross your fingers!
I am so glad this was just about panic attacks! So glad you have a good doctor that could see the signs. Now when you start craving sugar, try eating fruit(I like dried fruit, because it is chewy like some candy and easy to carry in my purse or keep in my desk) or try drinking water flavored with those no calorie water flavors(I just tried one called \"sweet tea\" not the brand but the flavor, don\'t know the brand, but no sweetener after taste and it was SWEET!). Maybe you will reach your goal weight sooner!! Keep up the good work!(((HUGS)))
