Progress on Home Rennovation Project

The place is painted, the shower is almost completely installed (we dodged the bullet on having to yank out the Durock on the faucet wall to fix a hot-water leak that was still there--simply replacing the seal with a stronger seal appears to have done the trick), and the living room is almost completely tiled (yay!).  They were going to complete the tiling of the bedroom and bathroom, and then finish the shower and installing the sink and toilet, but it's Sunday, and the neighbors complained to the condo president about the noise of the tile cutting saw and mixing device, they said the by-laws clearly state no work on Sunday or a holiday like Labor Day tomorrow (damn--can't win!), so, sadly, I had to send the guys home, and the tile and bathroom will have to wait yet another weekend and be finished up next Saturday.  Another week of using my parents', my upstairs neighbor's and the gym's shower whenever I reek, and another weeks' worth of short trips over to any of the fast-food restaurants near where I live whenever the bowels or bladder feel the urge to move (it's been absolutely thrilling, lemme tell ya, to not be able to take a dump or pee in my own home).  But, next weekend, this'll be done and I'll have my home back!!! 
Meanwhile, hooked up the computers in this dust, so will continue to frequent this site to keep in touch with you guys.  Warm regards...
