progress

When I got up this morning, I was in a negative kind of mood and was focusing on everything that was wrong with my life.  All I could think about were all the problems I had.
I was so consumed with depression from my problems that I put on my jogging shoes and my shorts and I went for a run. I did about 2.4 miles and I must of had a great time because I ran as fast and as hard as I could, almost like I wanted to punish myself!
When I got home, I felt really mellow and content and I didn't care if I had any problems or not, well I mean I cared but they just didn't bother me like they had earlier.
I think I will try to run again tomorrow :)

I know that feeling I have it often. I wish I had a way to distract myself like you do with running. I am unable to do much exercising because of my auto-immune problems. I do have a good support system I can talk with though and that does help a little. I have been reading most of your journal entries lately and they are very uplifting. It sounds like you are really enjoying running, you are making a lot of progress. Keep up the good work, your doing great.

You know......I have been feeling so terribly depressed lately....Yesterday was the worst!! Yes there are things going on in my life....some of these things I have no control over. But you know what? I have so much to be thankful for......beautiful wonderful kids and my wonderful friends who keep me smiling and keep telling me that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

friends like you that keep me smiling and your advice is so very much appreciated.

Just keep on running....cause if it makes the problems seems to so severe then so be it.
