Procrastinating

Have so much to do, and seem to have less energy every day.  When I am not working or with the baby, I procrastinate or do hapless things that have no priority.  I know it is part of the process, yet some of the things I don't get done are extremely important to my financial life.

My husband had little pockets of space in our house that he stashed bits and pieces of his daily life. I think these were things he did not know what to do with, so he pushed them into a box or a drawer. In the 33+ years we had been together I never pillaged those places. Thinking about taking a peek - seems intrusive.

I haven\'t been able to open my husband\'s closet. All his clothes are still there. Someday I\'ll pack them up and call the Vietnam Vets to come pick up. But I feel like when I get rid of something of Norb\'s that I\'m trying to get rid of HIM. Does that seem strange?
I procrastinate now, too.

Janie, I so understand. I was able to donate some of my husband, Binks\' pants, because they had not been worn in a long time. His dress shirts, well they made their way into a moving wardrobe box and remain in the closet. The polo like shirts are still hanging as are his pajamas. It feels as though he is still hovering and choosing which one is for today.

Strange, the only thing that is strange is us not having our men. The rest is an awkward journey as we adjust or fight against our new normal. We will take our steps in our own sweet time.

Much love,
L
