Preventing relapse

I really don't know if anyone will read this, but i am writing it anyway.  It has been such a ling time since I was last on DS and a lot has changed including my name! haha, yep I am now a mrs and a very happy one at that, i love my husband so much!
Anyway, of course one things that doesn't change is the presence of my eating disorder in my life, however the nature of it thankfully does.  I've had a lot of positive growth towards a much healthier, happier life without my eating disorder over the past year, and i strive to continue that.  I am blessed with more good days than bad.  However, I know I still have a lot of work to do and although i am so tired of it I will continue on.  The past few weeks have been particularly tough for me, I am trying to stay positive and strong and I really do my best to force myself to eat right.  Even though I often cry and eat so slowly that the food goes cold, I do still do it.  I am determined to prevent this going any further, I will not relapse, I want to get over this most recent struggle even though it tries so hard to destroy me.  I hate this disease and all that it does, I dont even want to change my weight anymore, i just want to get on and enjoy life, there are so many good things, so i try to concentrate on those.  They say this is a life long disease, but I dont believe that that means every day must be a struggle, I refuse to let everyday be a struggle and i refuse to let everyday be filled with various food/ related thoughts and anxieties.

Anyway, any tips on preventing relapse would be appreciated.  Thats enough rambling for now...

I don\'t know if I can give you tips since you are my role model, lol. But just think of all the good things that have happened in this last year and how a true relapse would endanger all that and probably make you feel like a failure even though you wouldn\'t be one. Ed just has a way of doing that. So I think continue with your struggle which sounds really torturous right now and maybe make some more future plans where ed just has no place - like having a little one. By the way I\'m 3.5 months ed free as far as behavior goes and I\'m proud and determined as never before. I don\'t necessarily love my body but who in this world does. I\'m just happy to be stronger, healthier, and energetic enough to life instead of existing. And I partially have to thank you for my new take on life, so don\'t you give up my dear friend.

You are one amazing young lady, and your husband is as lucky to have you as you are him. Keep doing what you\'re doing, cuz you\'re doing something right! Soon, I hope ED will be so far in the background that you won\'t even remember \"those days\". Continue to eat the best you can so you\'ll be able to nourish a little one in the near future. No pressure on that front though;)
By the way, I love your wedding pics. What a perfect couple, perfect wedding, perfect day! So glad to see someone doing so damn well! XoOXo
