Pretty Good Weekend

Even though I'm a little under the weather, it was a pretty good weekend. Went hiking on the Appalachian Trail with my daughter's Girl Scout Troop & it was the perfect day for it! A little on the cool side, which was good for when we climbed up a steep hill & warmed up! Got to see some nice views & interesting birds & I even found a mushroom that I know is edible (it was knocked off the log, so OK to take). For a while we hiked along a river, which was very pretty. After it was all over, we even rode over a covered bridge--my first time!
Yesterday my H & I went out to dinner to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We went to this semi-fancy seafood place right on the water. The windows were wide open, letting in a nice breeze off the harbor. We got to watch the boats going in & out. Plus, the food was very good & the service was excellent. After dinner, we went out on the deck to look at the views while we waited for the valet to get our car.
