Preparing for Gustav
Still hoping it doesn't come or atleast down grades. I have helped my husband board up our windows and pick up some of the loose stuff in our yard. Don't want to pack up and leave and so far we are staying. My house servived Katrina and didn't even get one drop of water either. Thanks to having it just lifted before the huricane developed! Neighbors weren't so lucky they were all much lower than our house! One next door neighbor didn't come back because she has dementia and her daughter thought it was a ggod time to get her use to living with relatives where she could be cared for. So now the house is rented out. And unfortunatly she was the only neighbor I talked with on a regular basis. That only leaves family and friends I've made here at DS. I am so thankful for this place being here! Anyway If I'm not on here, you can add Gustav to list until the storm blows over.I pray all my friends are safe, happy and pain free. : )
