Pre-Trial done and over with.......
Today was the Pre-Trial on the court case of my Home Invasion November 25th, 2008.I never thought in a million years, that it would last that long.First of all, it was all about me, my testamony, both sides questioning me.First one & half hour, I was questionned by The Crown Attorney. That lasted all morning after we finally go in, for my turn. Then at 12:30pm, noon came along, and we had recess for lunch, had to be back for 2:30pm.Upon our return, we went in straight away.By then the procecutor was ready to questionned me.When I saw the difference in the way he would ask the questions, trying to put words in my mouth, the lawyer character came upon me, and I responded with the exact wording, being very careful with my words.Like it's easy when your telling the truth, but the procecutor's jobis to try to make me make a mistake. No way, he didn't catch me, no matter how hard he tried. In the end, the pics came out.I had never told this to anyone, but my daughter went to school with his son.So when the newspaper came out, the young kid, 16 at the time, read the paper, well the people surrounding him, his family, ect...and of course he heard them talk about it.So Sam decided to ask the little RXXXXT if he knew a RXXXXT,with his description which is very original, and the kid said it's my Dad.So the kid brought a pic to my daughter, for me, and I gave it to the cops.So it came out in court, and that upset me cause I didn't want the children involved. But had no choice but to answer, so had to tell on the little guy, and my daughter.I asked my daughter if her little friend, had msn, so she could notify him, but he doesn't.He lives with his Grand-Parents, so at least they are not in the same home.As for the accuse he lives with his Father, who sign bail for him.So he has to be at his Dad for 6pm, and only leave at 6am.He cannot be 50 meters of me, and if he does see me, he must turn away.No drugs, booze, and other condition for his release, until he is sentence.Just got a call from my lawyer, she says that he is summoned to his pre-trial, which is August 13th, and if he pleads good, if not the Trial will be in one year.So I pray that he pleads, to get it over with.My lawyer also told me, that I did well, that eveyone said so.Even my Richard was impress, by the way I did all of this testimony,3hours to be exact, and not loosing it.Almost did a couple of time, but took a sip of water, and continued. So it was one hell of a challenge, but I am quite satisfied on the job I did, in order to recreate the whole episode. Will give an update on the 15th.Thanks to all who prayed for me,again God didn't let me down, he helped me through another tough day.Bless you all,MckenzieOne day at the time.

Hey Mckenzie:
I\'m so glad to hear you made it through a very tough day. Courts are so intimidating for those of us with no experience with them. For your sake I hope this dipstick takes a plea so you don\'t have to go through any more of this.
Hang in there girl, you\'re doing great.
Su.
My heart goes out to you. You sound like one tough Lady.....I do hope it all works out for the best for YOU. God Bless you.
You did a great job, McKenzie - proud of you for your strength. But then, we knew that about you.
I knew you would do it perfect! I knew it! I am so proud of you for being so brave. I believe the prayers worked. You are doing the right thing----and I also believe he will take the plea. My prayers are with you always.
BIG HUG!
I know, they make you feel as if you are the quilty one
Honey you are always a winner, never forget that. As time goes by the safer you will feel in the hands of god. I always think of you. You will have your hands full with me. And we are all in the hand of the loving universal healing power.
I am so proud of you..............what a tough thing to go through. (HUGS)
You were on my mind this morning, Mackenzie. I prayed like I told you I would. I wasn\'t there, but I bet you were amazing!
Mckenzie,
You are a very brave woman and I find you an inspiration. You help me remember that life is tough but it doesn\'t have to beat you.
Very well done, Mck - as Im sure I said to you -\" it\'s all a game, just a very serious one!\" I always felt that you would be a first class witness - you are very organized and precise: and it always helps to have truth on your side - then you do not have memory problems (unless you are me!) Fond regards, JaneD.
AWESOME JOB MACK!!! You did great. I knew you were a strong woman! This is one step closer to being done with the whole thing. If your struggle saves one other person from being attacked, it is all worth it. You are a hero. Never let the bullies win!
Sad about his son. People just don\'t think about the effects their actions have on their children. Some never should be given the privilege of being a parent.
Awesome! You did great.
You guys are incredible, if it wasn\'t for all of the prayers, and support from all of you, and God, I couldn\'t have done so well.
I will never forget the great help and trust you imposed on me, you all Rock my dear friends.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Love U always, Mackenzie
