Pre-Op Testing Passed...Ready for Surgery Tomorrow!
Okey dokey kids, I'm good to go to surgery on Wednesday morning! Passed my passive stress test yesterday morning with flying colors. The cardiac doc said that there is absolutely nothing wrong with my heart and he gave me a hug and wished me good luck with my upcoming surgery.Today I am going to try to finish up preparations for Thanksgiving dinner, which my sweetie Tom and my best friend Lisa are going to prepare. I have to go to the grocery store and then have the "all important hair appointment" at 10:30 a.m. My boss at my part time job was distressed that I am out of the game for the next few weeks, but he did hire my cousin who has been hoping to get a part time job there so that worked out really well for her.Went to Target yesterday and bought two new pair of pajamas! I'm actually wearing pj's to the hospital Wednesday morning....after all, I will be going to sleep for a little while and then coming home and going to sleep some more.Tom has been absolutely wonderful and caring and sometimes when I feel scared about all this, he just holds me and tells me that everything will be fine; this is just what's happening right now and it is further proof of the bond we have. I am so blessed to have had this wonderful man come into my life after so much pain and suffering at the hands of my ex.God is good. And I thank Him each and every day for bringing this change to my life.I'm wishing each and every one of you here on Daily Strength a wonderful Thanksgiving. We all have things to be thankful for -- no matter how bleak it may seem at times, there are plenty of folks out there who have absolutely nothing. I will keep you all posted on my recovery and thanks for your friendship and support!Much love and hugs,Cowgirl Kathi
