Pre-Op Final Phase Begins

Weight: 291 (my scale) / 286 (Doctor's scale)
The dietitian and nurse practitioner were very pleased with my progress and all is a go for October 26th.  Yay!!  I love their scale.  It weighs 5lbs less than my own.
So now preparations are well under way and almost complete for the journey.  I have the last of the liquid supplements on their way and a schedule set up for post-op meds.  Yesterday I took the advice of another member and bought baby things...baby spoons, baby plate, baby food maker (table side bowl and masher), and lots of baby Popsicle holders that hold 1oz each.  I tried making protein pops with regular popsickle holders.  They are wonderful however after finding out I will only be able to take in about 1-2oz at a time I realized these were way too big.  Wahoo!  Found 1oz size in the baby aisle at Walmart.  Perfect!
I only have a few days off left before surgery and so much to do it's almost overwhelming.  The biggest thing is that my brother is moving in with me November 1st and I have to do a lot of moving and cleaning to make a place for him.  Worst possible timing on planet earth.  I really need to concentrate on my own needs for the pitifully few days off I have left.  I have to get my land and home ready for winter before I have surgery because I won't be able to do heavy lifting afterwards.  So I'm freaking out a little bit on that account.  I don't see how it's going to be possible.
Speaking of...I'd better get to it!
