Prayers needed
I could really use some prayers this morning. I am being interviewed for a documentary on PTSD. They want me to talk about my son Patricks early years, before he came back from the Navy. I just want to honor God, honor Patrick and help some other mother recognize the signs before it is too late.
then I am off to a funeral in another state for a women that was like a mom to me during my very tumultuous teenage years. I mean, the woman spent days picking nits out of my butt length hair without a murmur...she was my haven from my drunken stepdad..wonderful woman!
I am so nervous because I don't even like my picture taken, but this is not about me is it? So much emotion for one day..so much loss so soon..and the threat of more loss with my DIL and her eye on Florida. I hope I can do this day without turning into a melted bowl of tissue and snot... Good grief.

No one better than you to speak from your heart and be a voice for your son Patrick. This honors him and all who love him so very well.
I have a sense that you might surprise yourself and find that place of calm where the words simply come and are from all of those who voice may be muted now, yet need to be heard.
Travel safely to the funeral of the women who loved you well and take care. I\'m sure all of this will take a lot of energy so do what you can to restore it.
Loving care and abundant prayers,
XO Joanie
You are very courageous and generous. You are thinking about others and honoring Patrick by helping other families.
