Prayer Support, Meeting with Congressman
Hi everyone. First Journal entry. So I contacted a Member of the House of Representatives for my district on Tuesday with a phone call and an email. They said they'd get back to me with a letter in a few weeks. I got a call the next day from his office and they were trying to get in touch with me, but I missed the call! and it was too late in the evening to call back. Anyways, I'm just hoping I didn't miss my shot and can get a hold of the office again, additionally hoping to arrange a meeting when I speak with them about ME/CFS advocacy and try to enlist aid. So I'm pretty anxious and nervous. Prayer or wishes from those of you who aren't religious would be appreciated!

Thanks for being a warrior - politics is brutal so I hope you have a thick skin because they seem to hear but not listen. But the more they hear maybe the more it will sink in. You\'re being very brave!
Dear David, you have all my support. I admire your persistence when I know you aren\'t feeling well. I know you are doing it, not just for yourself, but for all of us who are suffering with this ugly disease. I will pray that you will get the meeting and that the Kingdom will advance. Thanks Nina. I don\'t have much to lose and I think CFS has toughened me up a little bit, and thankfully I got an appointment yesterday. It\'s with his staffer, but hey. I\'ll take it. Additionally, John McCain may be joining the cause soon. I don\'t want to get everyone too excited, but he\'s pledged his support along with some other senators. Oh and last time I checked your photo missing singing had been viewed several thousand times :)
Also, thank you Heather. I\'ve been having some much better days. Just always push the second I have energy :p I think the LDN/Antiviral may be helping, but sometimes you just have a decent month where your a little more functional, you know. I may be able to announce some bigger news sometime soon. I\'m not high enough on the food chain to know about it, but I\'ve heard some possibly good news maybe headed our way!
Wow. Great to hear how hard you are working for us all. I\'m most grateful to you David. Finally after losing half my life to this disease, there appears to be some hope on the horizon. Best of luck and yes I will pray for change.Hugs and healing.
Its a good distraction and just lucky to have two good months recently. There is definitely some hope coming. ditto on the hugs and healing :)
