Prayer requested
Dear friends,I'm going to try to quit smoking tomorrow, & would really appreciate any prayers that can be sent up for me. This last week, I was able to go twice without a smoke or barely even the thought of one. My son doesn't want me smelling like smoke when I'm around the baby, so I honor that. The first time, I wore the patch, and, somewhere along the line of shopping, it fell off, & I didn't even notice. Yesterday, we went to their place for dinner, & it was so easy not to smoke, while having a great time. Even as we were leaving, I could have done without one, but did it, just out of habit. I get the feeling I should take advantage of this. I have enough smokes to last me til tomorrow afternoon, so I going to try to make a go of it. It'll be so worth it, as I want to be "sure" to be around to watch my granddaughter grow up, & even see the next ones. Thanks in advance for your prayers. I'll let you know how it goes.Much love,Debi
