Prayer for the Nation
The election has been determined, it is now that we need to pray for President Obama, for he has been given the position that will determine the degree of progress and favor this nation will have in the Eyes of Our Creator. The african-american community has desired and deserved for some time the representation that now is in place. Our brothers & sisters who prayed for Obama's victory will need to continue to pray for him to be directed by the spirit of God, that in humility he may accept that guidance and serve those he represents, and all the people of this nation under God's favor. For those whom did not vote for Obama, prayer will be a great necessity, as the concerns which kept the vote from being provided to him, will still need to be addressed. Our unity with our brothers and sisters across the political lines is of more significance now, when we will need to seek Our Lord's guidance to resolve past, present, and future challenges. As Jesus, Our Lord stated, " A house divided cannot stand (paraphrased)." Let us in prayer strengthen together the political and governing body of this nation, that we may ask God to keep it unified and operating within His Almighty Mercy, Grace, and ultimately His Protection. God bless you, God bless Everyone!
