Prayer for family

I was at the local nursing home here in my home town, visiting my brother in law.  There was a dear old man there who had lost his wife but, his family hadn't told him yet.  They were waiting for the rest of the family to come to the nursing home.   When the family arrived, they went into a special room with the old gentleman and told him his wife had passed that morning.  The Director of nursing motioned for me to come to the room and I knelt with this grieveing family, we all held hands and I had prayer with them.  The old gentleman thanked me and said "she's with Jesus now but, it still makes it hard for us to give her up".  I felt truly blessed to be there, at this specific time, for this family.  I am truly blessed that God uses someone like me the way He does.
