Poveglia, Italy can be leased for 99 years//

 
Poveglia, Italy (an island in Italy) is offered for lease for 99 years.  Wonder how much they want?  Now,  i know i journalled about people trying to flee their country and no other countries were taking them.  what if i gave them a small piece of this island each, to vegetable and orchard farm with wool sheep and all that, like the commune in Virginia - is that legal to do.  how does that go?  at least it would be a partial solution.  people floating around in boats with nowhere to dock is just crazy!   you can also open an elementary school in your own name for $5000 i journalled this somewhere as well.  there is some man doing this - he used to be rich, wall streeter type, but now he does this instead, i think for the passed ten years or more.  The schools are built in areas around the world where there aren't any elementary schools for children in that particular area.  They are also free, so any kid can go there and learn.  Great idea!!  
However, Poveglia, Italy is rumored to be a haunted island.  kind of strange.  It used to be a quarantine station for the Bubonic Plague, and since the turn of the last century, there had been an asylum.     In 1968, the psychiatric hospital was closed down and the island was abandoned.     It’s no wonder — Poveglia has long been considered one of the most haunted places on earth.
Rumor has it that the ghosts of plague victims, war victims, and the ghost of a murderous asylum doctor roam the decaying grounds (sounds like the mad man of butler, urban legend).    The Italian government offered the island up for long term lease (99 years) in 2014 in the hope that someone would redevelop the land.  So would this also become one of those things, you build it up and then the lease is broken because you fixed it up so they don't need you to be there anymore.  welcome to earth.   like the girl with santana said the other day, after enough things happen to you, nothing fazes you.  must be nice.  i thought too many things happening cause heart attack and stroke.
