Pouring on the Sickness
Well, no sooner did I get over my last big cold that I pulled something badly in my back last week. I was in a lot of pain, but took really good care of it, did stretches, etc. Now it just kind of aches a little & I have to be careful with certain movements. Hopefully I'll have full mobility again & will be able to do my back-strengthening Pilates.
In the meantime it became apparent last Wed that I had a yeast infection. So I bought the needed stuff from the store, as well as a Probiotic pill & a tub of Greek yogurt (which is really delicious, by the way). I'm on the last day of the regimen & it seems to be working great.
So NOW, just the other night, I started getting a little cough. Next morning, woke up tired (which is normal anyway) & decided to pick up some cough medicine & Airbourne to stave off whatever was coming on. It became obvious halfway through work that I was getting achy & feeling worse, so I went home. Last night, I had a fever of about 101F (and normally I'm on the low side, like 97). So I emailed my manager that I'd be out today. I'm still coughing, but it's a productive cough. Still have a fever, but it's hovering around 100.
I figure once the fever breaks, I'll go back to work. I just hope it doesn't take me out too long; I have some big deadlines coming up that really can't be done by anyone else. But we'll see I guess.
Saw my sister last Saturday; she was tolerable, but then I only spent a half hour with her. My mom wants us to come over for Easter. I'm still debating it...
