Potential Chat Alternative for Daily Strength
Back in my early college days I used a chat client to do online role playing (writing stories). I have seen people be interested in keeping the chat feature up on Daily Strength. Because Google is no longer carrying Meebo we are going to lose the chat feature and there’s nothing DS Admins can really do about it. But I got to thinking about this old chat client I used to use back in the day.
The client is Voodoo Chat (www.voodoochat.com) but it seems that they’ve changed how it runs. It looks like it currently uses Facebook Pages for room creation. It’s a lot easier to get a Facebook up and running versus a website (which is what we did back when I used it 6+ years ago). Sub chat rooms can be created, which could be aimed at the various forums on Daily Strength.

I just wanted to get this out there to see if there’s any interest. I know that I don’t use the IMs as much as others because I’m usually accessing DS from my phone, but it might be something people would really benefit from.
