I have posted online two groups. One for SO's and one for families with inmates just as a trail to see where the public is.
I had a revelation in my slumber last night about posting in other churches reference our support group.
I am also making a flier to post in local businesses.
My PO is all for it.

I think it\'s awesome, and great that your PO is supportive. My fiance\'s PO has never been supportive of anything he did. I get to meet with her soon, before his release, and am dreading it. She treats me like I am one of her clients.
How do I find the groups on here that you started. i want to join?
I have always wanted to try to make a difference for SO\'s and other people in and out of prison, but never knew where to start. When I checked with the county to ask if there was anything out there to help us, they said NO. Because they don\'t really care.
I wanted a face to face support group, where we could go, like AA or Al Anon, but there\'s nothing available. I want to start something like that, but to get the support, and find a place to have it at would be expensive and hard.
