possible break up?
My new bf is a really sweet guy but... do to his unsorted emotional baggage that has been spilling out on me, i have put a stop to everything. Yesterday I asked for my house keys back and gave him back a few things he left around the house. God knows I tried really hard to be there for him. i really opened my heart to this guy like no other guy in my past. i never met anyone like him. he was the guy i prayed for, that i didn't think existed, and God gave to me. ....bummed. But right now, till he sorts out his issues, i can't be close to him. Am I wrong for doing this?
After months of making adjustments on my night braces for my feet, they finally are making a huge difference. the pain has significantly reduced. Thank God. I also bought Earth shoes, that tilt the heal BACK not forward, and they have awesome arch support! if you have feet pain, i recommend trying these.
a military chaplain has been making visits to the house to talk to Sonnie. we are hoping that this will help him slowly get convinced to "want" mental help and check himself in to an 8 week program at the Va hospital. so far, i am holding off making any hasty decisions about the mortgage... besides, it will take a while before i get approved for IU.
I have started the process of becoming a volunteer at the Va so i can visit patients at the hospital. I know that this was supposed to be a thing that my bf and i did together, but, i'm continuing with out him FOR NOW. I already signed most of the paper work. AND.... i'm considering joining the red cross so that i can visit hospitalized active duty troops at the Tripler Army Hospital as well.
hopefully, after he sorts out his issues, we can be together and do all these things we set to do. i already miss him.....

Hello Bluesun,
It has been a long time since I last corresponded with you. I hope that you are doing well.
Your story about relationship with your boyfriend is an all to common story. Things can be so right in so, so many ways but there is that thing, whatever it may be, that will arise and foul it all up. Sometimes to the point of total a collapse of the relationship. I hope you the best.
Take Care Bluesun,
Randy
Im so glad you found shoes that help! i have alot of foot pain, i will check them out! Thanks for the tip! Im sorry about your boyfriend. I think you did the right thing, its so hard to deal with our stresses let alone someone else dumping all of theirs on you too, it really makes a person ill. I am so proud of you for volunteering alone at the VA, that is so kind of you and plus it will help take your mind off the ex/boyfriend. I hope things work out great for you. Take care! Hugs, Marie
God, maybe leading you into a whole different direction, go along for the ride but keep your heart open. We used to have those shoes my hubby wore them all the time, can\'t find them anywhere now. Take Care God will watch over you~~~Debbie
Hey Blue, sorry it didn\'t work out with the bf. At least not for now. It sounds as though you did everything you could for him, and then some, so don\'t second guess yourself. Trust in your choices, and Lord willing, he\'ll get straightened out and you two will have another chance.
I think it\'s great that you are continuing with the va volunteer work. You will really make a difference in the lives you interact with, and since you get it, they will respect you.
I do hope that your brother gets the help that he needs. I know that this has been on-going for a while and must be so draining on everyone, especially you and your mom.
Thanks for the tip on the Earth shoes. I\'ll look into them. My feet/ankles is probably the most pained part of my body. I\'m glad you\'re getting some relief with the braces and shoes. Good news!!
Hugs and blessings,
Sherry
