Pool therapy tools arrive in mail
It will be a little like Christmas around here over the next few days. I have ordered pool therapy tools and PT stuff for after I complete this round of actual PT. I also ordered, for my kindle as it was cheaper; a book on pool therapy. I read it in one sitting, reviewing the exercises. Highly informative.

Make the Pool Your Gym: book with excellent therapy and athletic no impact exercises

I hope this will help others as well. I have a pool in my yard but not heated, so I must wait until it warms up to use it. I've discovered my PT place will allow me monthly use of all facilities for only $40.00. Yay!! I will be using them daily after doctor clears me from therapy. I pay $36.00 a session now but receive heat, massage and advice. Monthly use doesn't include any of that; I'm on my own. Training wheels off, so to speak. I'm sure I can work out a program I can manage on my own. How many times have I been to therapy now? too many to count!
On to other things: I didn't complete all of my therapy yesterday, sadly to say. I was in pain, had been all night. I am not taking my "big boy" meds, as I call the narcotics; not at all. I am to be taking Aleve and am having bleed through nerve and back pain, with stiffness and mobility problems on top of it all. Sigh* I could only get through the massage, which made me touchy and a little grumpy. The pool was nice as I was alone, and it was relatively quiet despite the bad tunes piped in by radio. Pain, enduring, lasting, prolific, never ending...call it what I will...stinks big time. I get grouchy and maudlin, curl up in bed and want my Mama. She's passed on so that isn't even remotely a possibility at present. Then I pray, for hope, stamina, peace that passes all human understanding, rest and joy...not happiness. God miraculously gives me another day...with all of the above. I may be in pain, but I am content with His help. I will live to complete my PT another day...

I love this entry. Not that you have the added pain but the way in which you have handled it.
You have a way with words in describing the pain. I relate to many of those.
May God\'s grace and mercy continue to comfort you.
