Policy for Outside Saunas

The sauna was part of our lives from our first thoughts as a child. It had been an outside sauna which was situated about 30 meters behind the house and about 10 meters from the pond we lived on. It was made of Upper bright forest and measured 12 legs by 10 feet in size. It featured a traditional sauna range that has been produced in Bruce Crossing Michigan only a little town in Upper Peninsula. Our outside sauna also had a cold water spicket which was used to load the water bucket for making steam, great downs and for rinsing the work down before you went back once again to the house.
The floor of our outside sauna was also cedar and was raised about a foot down the ground. Underneath was an opening filled up with rocks that could enable the water to strain to the soil. We   buitensauna  were happy that people did not have the clay soil that some of our neighbors had which would need a particular strain to eliminate excess water.
The main reason for having another outside sauna was because of custom but more to the point to lessen the fireplace hazard. Several of our friend's sauna has burnt down during the past 40 years. It is exciting that people all applied wood to temperature our domiciles but besides a chimney fire or two nothing of our friends or neighbors properties burnt down. Some people have joined the over use of alcohol based drinks, yet another sauna convention, to the large number of sauna fires. Many times an outdoor sauna range is allowed to obtain scorching in planning for the sauna and that is anything that we seldom permitted with house woodstove.
