police....

this morning at 3 i woke up to someone banging on my door....it took me a little while to realize someone was banging on MY door....it went on for 5 minutes....i turned on my bedroom light which you can't see from the door and i opened my door and leaned against the wall....i saw a figure at my door....i freaked out...i went on my bed and called my mom and asked her what to do she told me to call 911...i did and they sent some police to my apartment.....i called my mom after i got off the phone with dispatch.....it was so scary....someone is banging on your door, turning your doorknob trying to GET IN, using the knocker....it was just freaky....the police got there about 5 minutes later knocked on my door and announced themselves.....the guy who was knocking on my door was drunk and was looking for a party....there wasn't a party that I knew of.....it was a scary experience.....i had an ongoing panic attack today throughout the day at work.....it wasn't severe but it was extremely tiring.....i felt like my heart was racing nonstop, my breath was fast and shallow and i felt like i was overstimulated times 10,000 and it was awful....i was supposed to work at jewel and i called in sick.....i wasn't gonna go....i work tomorrow until 10 and i'm gonna ask someone to walk me to my car....i don't care if anyone laughs at me.....i'm too freaked out to feel like a fool

I understand what you are going through, I am going through the same thing. You did the right thing, you were brave and strong and you knew what to do and you should be very proud of yourself, I am proud of you, I know how scary that was, I am going through a lot of the same thing, so good for you
