have a sore throat. guess i went off cold meds too fast. i didn't take anything last night or this morning. i bought throat losengers at target and then noticed i'm not feeling too great. need some sleep. kind of dizzy. ugh.
k called to say the cat hasn't eaten since tuesday when i was at his house and it had very little then. i took fancy feast and some dry and only if the food was high up. i left kmr at k's and told him to make it. its nutritionally complete and a great stand by for any cat/kitten that is ill. he called to say it drank the kmr. yay!
than i noticed in addition to two sick kittens here, another has lost too much weight that is normally husky. wth? his coat wasn't good for a while either. really want to find land. if the new people that moved behind w start any crap, all hell is going to break loose by our street. others blame w, w blames others. would really like to be elsewhere. land for the animals and a hirise condo on the intracoastal for me.

k discovered in addition to the cat eating only high up (he must have come from a house with a dog) so the food is on a night stand now -- the cat needs affection or won\'t eat. \"failure to thrive\". the cat expects at least a few minutes of petting and talking etc., and then he is happy to eat. \"so the way to this cat\'s stomach is through his heart\". k came up with that.
he calls and says, there is an expression, the way to a man\'s heart is through his stomach,
well with this cat, the way to this cat\'s stomach is through his heart.
at least it is solved and hopefully it will gain weight. it also likes human food and moist food and i gave him nutrical to give to him. hope it all works out. he really likes the cat. he liked the new white one with baby as well, but its deaf and he\'s afraid it would run outside and get hit by a car. hoping marjorie will take that one.
