Poem: I sit

I sit here in the dark thinking of deep thoughts
Soul searching; embarking on what life has brought

I sit her in the depths of despair
Never to reveal or share

I sit here sedentary alone and afraid
As my good memories of yesterday fade

I sit here dreaming of better days
Questioning how I can change my ways

I sit here and ponder my life
Am I a good wife?

I sit here and wonder if I we can still be together
If we part will I still be a good mother?

I sit here struggling to see any kind of hope
Will I carry on and just cope

I sit here crying and longing for a better tomorrow
But I drown in the pool of my pitiful sorrow.

I sit here with my hands together praying
Save me from this life that is fraying

Yes, I wrote it yesterday. I notice I have a typo haha. Thank you. I am happy that you like it. Today seems to not be so dark.

I\'m glad it\'s a less dark of a day for you. For some reason I\'m having difficulty with the website, and seeing who has sent me a message or answered me etc...I feel like I\'m always lagging behind!

Actually I\'m going to meet a newish girlfriend at a park to listen to a band we know play for a benefit tomorrow. I\'m excited to get out with someone else besides me! Maybe it\'s a start...hope you are well too, and I saw something you said about feeling lonely even if you have a big family...I so know what you mean...I felt lonely when I was married in the last few years and even felt lonely in this past relationship the last few years too...I think I always felt that way, even as a kid and I come froma big family too. maybe I should join the lonliness group too....goodnight and thanks for being so sweet.
