Poem: Darkness Visible

Darkness Visible         03/31/2013
Torn and twisted, tortured, sordid, tainted, turning mind.
Darkness, dankness, depths of sorrow, desperate search to find.
Some sort of light or way to climb back up out of the abyss.
Need some rope or tools to assist me on my quest.
On the borderline, on the ledge, on the verge, on the precipice, teetering over the edge.
Too easy to tip over, too easy to fall down, too easy to go over, to easy to jump and make no sound.
Reach out- then rejected. Reach out – then ignored.
Ask for help –then no one listens. Scream for help and no one cares
So tired of the exhausting ascension. So tired of getting kicked back down. Hard to look forward to tomorrow, when you know this will always be around.
Hope to summon my inner strength, to stand back up on my own two feet. Will make this life more constant, more solid, more livable.
But will always be vigilant, on the lookout for darkness visible.

Oh, how I wish I could be there to give you a hug and tell you things will be OK. We can\'t really predict whether we will feel like this forever or if it will always be around.
You have to pull yourself out girlfriend. I dont know your situation just trying to give you a little encouragement. You seem like such a nice person. Don\'t be so hard on yourself either for feeling the way you do. I do like the poem. I like that you share these with us!!
