POAS!?!?
First, update on the cramping:I have had moderate AF-like cramps for the past few days. It seems to have subsided a bit today. I know the thought of POAS is controversial to some, but for me, it's not a matter of IF I will, but WHEN I will. If I know I have a couple of sticks in the bathroom, I'll for sure have to use them before Monday's beta. By nature (and profession), I am a planner. I don't like surprises, don't like to be caught off guard, and don't like to be unprepared. I POAS for my IVF cycle, and while it was hard, it was better that I knew before going in for my beta. So, maybe I'll take my first HPT on Saturday a.m.?

I think you never can tell with the cramps, so I would try not to read much into them. You just hear it go both ways so many times. Of COURSE we all hope yours are a good sign, of activity in the uterus!! I don\'t like surprises either, and have usually POAS before beta myself. I hope you see those two lines!! You deserve it--good luck and keep us posted.
Aahhhh, the POAS argument. I have done both - waited and checked so I don\'t have an answer. I really, really, really hope that you get the best Christmas present ever! Thinking of you!

I POAS every time I did IVF. I wanted to be prepared for beta news. Even though they didn\'t last, there was nothing as elating as seeing those double lines each time. I did have cramps w/both BFP\'s and nothing with the BFN, so I\'ll keep praying that those cramps are just the sign you need. Good luck!

I POAS before my BETA as well, even though DH was totally against it. I think I did it like 12 days after my HcG trigger to make sure it was clear. But what also helped, was getting the digital PTs. They are moe expensive but you don\'t have to second guess if there\'s a line or not. Of course, after 24 hours the read disappears - it is insane! Good luck and please don\'t go crazy waiting.
Hey, if you got them use them! That\'s what I always thought. I never POAS because I didn\'t have any and I thought why waist the money when I am about to find out for free (or already paid for). But you have some already waiting, don\'t waist them use them.
