PLEASE Pray For Me!
This morning I discovered a blister on the back of my right heel. I am concerned because that is how my amputation of my left leg started. Also, I am still trying to recover from the fall after my left bka. It became infected and now I go to whirlpool 3 times a week to heal that wound. Slow process- diabetic for 37 years.Will see my podiatrist after whirlpool tomorrow AM. Please pray that the blister on my right (good) heel will be minor.If all goes well with the left stump, I may be about 6 wks. from the shrinker socks again, then, hopefully the prosthesis.I would like to say that I know that God is in control of this whole deal, and I am thankful for all that He blesses me (and you) with. It is truly comforting to know that so many of you are in my corner too. Thank you for all of the emails of help and encouragement. I value them more tha you know. God Bless You, Preacher Dave

Hey Dave, I\'ve been a bk amputee for a year now. I just wanted you to know that I said a prayer for you. This is such a tough time right after surgery and having a setback is such a bummer. I hope things are starting to go your way. You certainly have a good attitude and that is really important. Best of luck. Rene
DEAR DAVE, I WILL KEEP YOU IN MY PRAYERS, I TO AM AN RBKA,AND STILL IN THE HEALING PROCESS.5 DAYS AGO I ALSO TOOK A FALL TO MY BKA,IT HURT LIKE HELL BUT BY THE GRACE O GOD IM BACK TO WHERE I WAS BEFORE THE FALL.THE BOTTOM OF MY STUMP SPLIT OPEN,THANK GOD FOR PAIN KILLERS.I NEEDED TWO METHADONE PILLS JUST TO MAKE IT BACK INTO THE HOUSE!I HAD TO WRAP MY STUMP WITH AN ACE BANDAGE,COULDN\'T PULL THE SHRINKER OVER THE RBKA.I\'M JUST THANKFUL FOR ALL THE PRAYERS EVERYONES DONE FOR ME, SO I WILL INCLUDE YOU IN MINE!GOD BLESS YOU!
