Please God

Please God help me,
to keep a nice attitude when her father,
who did not gave a hoot about her for more than three months,
comes to take her out.
Please God help me,
to leave my anger and my sadness out of me when he comes to drop her off and
she is really happy to have her dad back.
I am her mom, but I am also a daughter and there is few things better in live than
hugging your dad at the end of the night!
Give me the strenght God, not for me but for her.
She is a great young woman, she will be an excellent writer and or a professor one day.
God please watch out for her, make sure he doesn't brake her heart.
I know am asking for too much, but God in your infinite love and kindness give me an ounce of patience.  Because if I don't have it, then where will she go if anything goes wrong with him, and it will.
I have chosen not to tell her about all the things he did to me.
She knows some but not everything, but I do not want to tell her, because if he almost broke me, what would it do to her?  Is my job as a mom to protect her from as much pain as  I can.  Does she really needs to know that he spent every cent from her college fund on one of her girlfriends?  Or the horrible things he said to me?
She is older I know, but I also know her, remember God she went into a very bad depression?  She just feeling better now.
I am nobody God, just a divorce mom trying to get by, to be strong, to be a good mom.  God  I am so tired!  Exhausted really.
Please God, just a little bit of strenght, of wisdom, of patience will be so good right about now.
Keep her safe when I can't, keep me sane for a little longer.
In fact God,can you give strength to every divorce/separated mom/dad who feels like the world it just going to collapse in top of them?
I am so tired, just a cup of hope please!
Thank you for listening,
Amen

Amen.

Keeping you both in my prayers, too. And Let\'s pray that her father minds his manners so I don\'t have to fly up there and accidently beat the shit out of him.

And Amen. And yes, maybe you should let BretDarren go up and beat him! LOL It is sooo difficult not to say anything negative concerning that other parent who is the one who did wrong. I just asked God to give you both the strength, wisdom and courage you need. It isn\'t easy to always be the \"good\" one when that other one is getting the respect we so deserve. Yes, YOU can be the strong one for her. I have to do the same thing. Yeah, makes me want to \"accidentally\" beat the garbage out of my ex too when I see my little grandson out in his backyard and I haven\'t seen him lately and yet I find out last night that he took them out to dinner when her mil\'s mother passed away. Just wait til my book is out there and I can take them anywhere...he\'s gonna be mincemeat and I\'ve NEVER wanted it to be a battle of money, but it\'s gonna be now! I\'m armed and ready now. Been working on my book ALL evening til just a few minutes ago. Girlfriend, you won\'t have to tell your daughter anything. She\'ll realize it on her own soon enough. For me, it took years, but my son is there. My daughter knows everything now and I wasn\'t the one who told her...another daycare mom did. Your daughter will look up to YOU even more. She may be angry for a while like mine is now, but she\'ll come back and everything will be okay. Just let her know it has nothing to do with her and everything to do with him. I had a piece of garbage for a daddy too, so I know how that goes. No, I don\'t hate men, but a good one is truly hard to find...seems the good ones are taken. That was a GREAT prayer!!! Yes, God, help us all!
