Please don\'t make me any healthier 1/11/2009
Talk about an emotional roller coaster. Learning to deal with ones Mortality. I can still remember when I was in my 20's and 30's I was imortal, then in my 40's I developed a slight fear of things, now I'm terrified. I think facing ones mortality has to be the weirdest feelings one has to learn to deal with. I told my doctor I was the absolute worst person to have to be on Coumadin, My Gosh I am the worlds biggest KLUTZ, and I prefer eating fresh green veggies more than anything else in the world, I have been growing all these yummy green things in my garden for years, now what am I suppose to grow? Oh yea here's another thing my one doctor suggested. A filter in my artery to catch any blood clots. Ok now wait a minute, does this mean I go in every 3,000 miles for a filter and oil change. I'm starting to feel like a car. I know eventually I will learn to deal with my new condition as soon as the doctors figure out what exactly it is, they still haven't figured out where the clots keep comming from, they just miraculously appear when no one is looking. 01/11/2009I actually went to the doctor over my sore Booty. I heard a large pop in my booty when I was having play time with my dog. Anyway after an MRI I learned I have a torn disk in my lower back (Not caused from the incident) apparently when I heard that pop I tore it a little worse. No bleeding but I got an immeadiate steroid injection in the faucet of one of my lower vertabre. The faucet was pushing on a nerve causing the pain. So that issue is being taken care of.I also got a call from my primary physician to let me know they discovered 2 lumps in my right breast on my mamograham. I'll get a repeat momograham in 6 months. I'm not even going to ask what else can go wrong. In 2005 with my first PE my doctor suggested I quit smoking, He told me with a totally straight face how much healthier I would be. What a liar he was and he was able to look me in the eye and tell me this. After 14 days in the hospital I figured ok I can quit, I've gone this long without a ciggarette It shouldn't be a problem, and surprisingly it was easier than I expected. I have been smoke free for a little over 3 years now. Ok as far as the "So much healthier" ROFLMBO yea right! I now take rat poison for my blood clots, I take 2 blood pressure meds to control an otherwise extremely high blood pressure, I take thyroid meds for hypothyroidisim, I take an anti depressant because I'm going through menapause and can't take the hormone replacements and if i'm not on something I'm sure to kill my husband especially since I'm licensed to carry weapons and know how to use them and probably would. I'm on lasix because the blood pressure meds make me retain water, I'm on potassium because I pee so much from being on lasix and I loose all my potassium. I pray that I don't get any healthier! 01/12/2009What a lousy day this has been, stop this stoopid ride I want to get off. My Booty still hurts to sit, My Pharmacist filled one of my blood pressure meds wrong and gave me the wrong drugs. (good thing I noticed) I broke my glasses frames, and its starting to snow once again. Oh and I hit my stoopid knee on the gate coming in from work tonight so its sore too. (its the knee I had replaced back in June of 2008 so its still sore anyway. Dang I think I'm gonna go to bed before I hurt myself or break anything else.
