played and it was fine!
I can't explain it but collarbone barely hurts now. I ran harder than I should have but I did sub out more than I usually do because I was afraid I'd make my collarbone worse. Strange but I'm not complaining. In addition to that -- we won! And I played very well! Go figure! Guess I'll play in the outdoor game tomorrow after all! Love my preschool art classes! Such enthusiasm these little ones have! How can one be in a bad mood around these happy campers!? It's so much fun to create the projects - see the joy they have making them and then the finished product. I love this so much more than teaching in the "regular" classroom like I did for over 10 years. Still working on the presentation called "NOT MY CHILD" - Parent Drug Awareness and Education Program - and still improving and making changes. My hubby and I still have to practice the whole thing together. In the meantime, the program is being advertised everywhere. It's in 4 papers (regularly - have a series going) our church bulletin (hope it makes it to the other churches), it's on our community cable TV "board", it's sent out via e-mail to the parents, as well as in letter form. A very impressive and active parent advocacy group (a town over) posted the event on their site, as well. In addition, I'm posting fliers throughout our town, too. There are two main reasons I want to make sure we have a lot there. The first one (is obvious I guess) is to make sure we get the message out to as many parents as possible. And the second reason is - I want to make sure that I have enough people for the sake of my demonstration! LOL
