Plaquenil

I had my Orencia IV Infusion yesterday, along with blood work.  Today I received a phone call from my Rheumy's nurse with lab results and it was not good news.  My internal inflammation has increase, not decreased so Dr. wants me to start taking Plaquenil today.  I am not happy about having to add another medicine to the Orencia, and although I have read that Plaquenil is safe and many RA patients are on it, some of the side effects bother me tremendously.  Losing sight, losing hair, indigestion ... Not something I am looking forward to.
