planted a tree//bugs/ants no longer eat our foods because of the chemicals in them?!
planted a tree. thought it was a weed and then pulled it up and got the root, so i saved it and put it on the other side of the yard where so many trees were lost during the hurricanes of 2004. hope it does okay. have never planted a tree - seedling before. its about 3 feet high.
put mayonaise outside and a leftover yogart. NOT ONE BUG went inside it, though i think the raccoons or possums ate it. we no longer eat food, we are eating "food like substances" super scary and very sci fi feeling. is there a mayonaise or yogart out there that is NORMAL? also my friend had one of those spreads that you use in place of butter. he keeps it ON THE COUNTER because spreads no longer need to be refrigerated! wth?
the ice cream that is walmart brand does NOT melt if left out in the sun. omg! and they claim a burger and fries from any fast food is so overloaded with chemicals that if you leave it out, no bugs will want it and it will stay looking as it looked originally for MANY YEARS just by sitting there. when did all this start?
g told me that people complain nowadays if women wear housedresses and housecoats outside of their homes. they want them to wear shorts instead. lmao. i actually REMEMBER what a fight it was to be able to wear pants to school. it wasn't allowed in the early 70's or any year before that. in the 80's we wore dresses to work ALL THE TIME, like princess diana, silk dresses from Lord and Taylor mostly, with a light cotton jacket or sweater and sling back 3-inch heels. loved the look actually. it wasn't until later in the 90's that the men's pants thing became big. i'm amazed its completely reversed now.
and church is more casual than ever, at least here. people show up in shorts and at the outdoor events or book and thrift shop, even in gardening clothes, though i think that annoys a lot of the regulars who basically run that stuff. i think we did mostly because its across the street and then you get pulled in basically and you aren't dressed for it and then you figure, well, if it doesn't matter i'll saunter over more often and shop. now i'm back to thinking its a bad idea because they have a nicer building for the store. have to get nicer houses dresses. lol. the sleeveless ones for the beach are nice and super long.
i'm all clear on two of the tests so far and have two more to go if i end up needing an eye test as well. when it rains it pours! glad it was clear, but i'm still anxious. rb who has bad vision said he had to get a note from the eye doctor, even in his 20's to get a driver's license because the dmv doesn't want to be responsible for passing him, even with his glasses on. the envelope from the doctor has to be SEALED or its not accepted. he can't see a thing without glasses or contacts. k just went through the same thing but he said there was nothing wrong when he went to the doctor. never even knew all this shit goes on, so now i know why people get so nervous going to dmv, i always thought they got nervous because the photo is so shit. guess not. lol. you don't realize how lucky you have been healthwise until all the crap starts happening. another guy at the office park died. c says he was 45 and they found him in a park the day after his heart attack. awful. now if they found him sooner would he have been okay? i'm shocked.

getting old really is a shock, isn\'t it? its all non stop medical crap, what a difference.
I had to help my Grandma with her issues with her driver\'s license in the years before she died. She was in her late 90\'s at the time, so it was to be expected, but jumping through all of those hoops was exhausting. Her doctor had to sign off on her being allowed to drive. Not just physically, but mentally, too. It\'s good that those precautions are there, but it\'s tough to get through if you\'re fine.
Food additives are everywhere. If you can afford it, go organic. I can\'t stand paying extra for organic, but I\'m trying to avoid foods that aren\'t too processed, at least. I went on a binge this weekend, though. I\'m supposed to be watching my sugars and gluten, and I just flipped over a box of glazed doughnut holes. Ate the whole damn box. Plus pie. And then I had pasta for dinner. I swear, Except for the sugar crashes, I\'ve felt better than I have since I started restricting my gluten. Ugh. Don\'t want to talk to my doctor about this, but I guess I have to. *HUGS*
yeah, \"getting olde isnt fun\"---i forgot i said that enough times to people; maybe enuff of my own health problems went away that i no longer say that.
just maybe, my cat is sick from \"purina naturals\" cat food, which isnt very natural, except for the title. And, also maybe the carpet fresh i put around corners of room also made the poor cat sick; won\'t know for sure till i take him to vet.
with me, it\'s \"one-two punch\" as a version of \"when it rain it pours\"
n says the guy went to the nurse two months ago for pains in his chest, but they said he was okay. could be from the heat. how about doing a stress test and make sure? if he was on blood pressure meds would it still happen?
