planning for my 20th anniversary

In nine short months will be my 20th wedding anniversary and I am making plans.  We live so very close to Yellowstone National Park and yet my husband has never been there.  My son hasn't been there either and the last time I was there I was in my early teens.  So I figured for a quick fun get away that we would go there for the weekend of our anniversary and I have to say I am looking forward to the visit.  In years past I would have cringed at the thought of going there because of all the walking and hiking involved to see the different sites and things.  Now with this surgery and the weight loss happening I am looking forward to it.  While I know that I still have the arthritis and it will still flare up I won't have all that extra weight when the time comes and be able to do a lot more with my husband and son.  My ultimate goal is to build up my strength and abilities so that one day I will be able to climb to the top of Multnomah Falls in Oregon.
For my anniversary I am planning a small dinner party the night of our anniversary and then the next morning we will take off for a cabin at Yellowstone and stay for the weekend.  Since it is only about a four hour drive from where we live to get there we won't be in the car that long and will have time to look at the sites.  I just can't believe that it will be 20 years coming up.  Just doesn't seem possible.
